nb: I have only watched the first two seasons, so I'm basing my view on that.

I also like the variant where the #2 has been used up and tossed aside by the Big Bad as no longer useful, and the former baddie then achieves redemption (with or without dying) by helping the protagonists.

(Anonymous) 2020-01-18 11:23 pm (UTC)(link)If I'm being serious, though, I want to see crossovers? I know how logistically difficult that is, but it doesn't make me want to see them any less. Weird ones! Not just like... Marvel vs DC or something, but like CSI and GoT. Weird stuff.

(Anonymous) 2020-01-19 02:11 am (UTC)(link)Gangs/organized crime done right...
Strong platonic friendships (particularly between a mon and a woman) that aren't filled with jealousy, romance, or people saying how cute it would be if they got together!
Communication! No vague 'this is very important, but I'll tell you later' and then having the character always dying right after, or 'we don't have time to talk right now' even though what they have to say would have taken less time just to spit out and cause a lot less issues. Also I hate it when two characters fight over a stupid miscommunication that could be solved in five seconds but somehow lasts entire seasons for absolutely no reason!

(Anonymous) 2020-01-19 09:32 am (UTC)(link)That’s what romance is all about for me. That’s what makes a fictional romance compelling, period.
So I’d really like to see way more of that dynamic in mainstream media.
What are your favorite movie monsters?

Specifically, the best monster I've ever seen is Modor from The Ritual.
For most fun, it is the monsters from Tremors.

(Anonymous) 2020-01-19 01:47 am (UTC)(link)Mummies also hit a lot of the same notes, so those too. And I swear I'm not just saying this because I was addicted to Mummies Alive! when I was ten.

Everything in Doctor Who pretty much- especially Daleks, Silence, and the Silurians.
Nazgul of course. Also Tolkien's werewolves (I like his best, they are more demonic monster wolf, less human transformed).
Dragons are probably always going to be my favorite, though. I'll take them any way I can get them.

(Anonymous) 2020-01-19 09:38 am (UTC)(link)For fun? Vampires. I like them scary, I like them sexy, I like them all the ways.
