I don't have time for fic anymore unless it is PWPs. I read fic to get off and that's it. The only reason I use fic and not something else is the comfort of familiar characters and ships. But I miss longer chaptered fics, I just don't have it in me to make the effort.

I used to be all about YA fantasy. Then it was fantasy in general. Some time in the past few years, though, I just stopped being interested in anything where the main characters were kids or teens. I'm honestly not sure why that is. It isn't that I look down on YA stuff or think it is bad. I'm just not interested and I can't figure out why.

And I feel like I'm the only adult who *doesn't* automatically get bored with protagonists if they're teenagers and am getting fed up with the stealth insinuations that it's because I'm still mentally a child.

Star Wars has always been my fandom. I have always loved it all. OT. EU. Prequels. Sequels. Clone Wars. Rebels. Resistance. But I can't bring myself to watch Mandalorian. I watched part of the pilot and wasn't that interested. And I'm just not into bounty hunters and really not into Mandalorians. Boba Fett is pretty much my least favorite Star Wars character, and Jango Fett is near the bottom too. Maybe this makes me a bad fan considering this show is supposed to be the future of Star Wars. But while baby Yoda looks adorable, that doesn't make up for the unappealing main character.

I love shipping Doctor/Master, but honestly my favorite versions of the ship are the het ones only because I like those versions of the Master better and I see more chemistry. I'm just not that big on the Simms master, see the most chemistry between Capaldi and Gomez (though Jodie and her Master have the sparks too), and haven't seen a ton of Classic Who. I still feel a bit bad though.

B!S: I do ship Simms!Master/Capaldi!Doctor a bit, though. And Simms!/Master/Missy too. Threesome!

reigen/serizawa is a boring ship with no chemistry and i feel like people are only into it because they want to ship reigen with someone but dimple's too ugly for them and all the other options are kids.

I miss the aesthetics of GameCube Animal Crossing, along with how mean the villagers could be. They're too nice these days!

I refuse to beta for authors who send me fics with lots of typos and SPAG errors in them. It feels lazy on their part, and they're rarely appreciative of the utter drudgery that goes into editing for typos and SPAG.

I know fatal fury anime was bad but I wished they would make a new one (or a sequel) just so I can get more of Terry and Rock father-son relationship. The King of Fighters: Another Day from 2006 is the only time that we see it outside of the games and even if it was short I loved it.

Making the Harley Quinn/Birds of Prey movie R rated was a mistake, most of the Harley Quinn fans are teenage girls, how do the studio expected it to make money if your main audience can’t see it?

What bothered me the most about the kili/tauriel is that they are show to be attracted to each other (at least at the beginning) because of their appearance, when elves and dwarves should have different concepts of aesthetics and beauty.

I’m kinda disappointed that the arranged marriage trope isn’t more common on the fire emblem three houses fandom. Yes, that are fanfic with this trope but I expected to be way more.

I hate hate hate hate the 'oh noes, they have a partner!' trope (where the 'partner' is their work buddy, brother, sister, etc.), especially when they base they're assumption on a one minute conversation and/or sighting and/or social media post and then don't bother to follow up.
ESPECIALLY if other character was flirting, making eyes, etc. before.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE.

I really hope that the leaks are false and the main character of the movie isn't going to be an O.C. Mortal kombat has more 40 characters and I would take any of them as the main character, even the ones I don't care about like stryker, than "cole turner"

Anal is my favorite sex act to read about, and I definitely miss it if there isn't any in an E-rated slash fic. I guess on some level I do feel like it's the ultimate sex act for my ship to engage in.

I know elevating penetrative sex as somehow more intimate or more serious than other sex acts is a heterosexists perspective, and in reality I don’t believe it’s inherently more intimate or serious than other sex acts.

But in fiction I still kind of have that mindset where I just want my ship to “go all the way” (and I also just find the idea of penetrative sex hottest, even if for many people, in reality, other forms of sex are just as good or better).

I really wish Fran had a bigger role in Knives Out, she was fairly integral to the plot and I wish she's have more focus. I get why they didn't, but I think it would have made things more interesting, if not a better mystery.

B!S: I think they could have done more with the name 'Ransom' too, but I suppose his name was a red herring in and of itself.

I have a major pregnancy kink. Stories about characters getting crazy knocked up, plus erotic birth and all that, turn me on like nothing else. I don’t even like parent fic at all. I just like the part where they’re accidentally pregnant with multiples, or don’t know they’re pregnant till the third trimester, or can somehow get knocked up multiple times at once or whatever. Weird stuff.

S!B It’s a weird kink that most people find gross/creepy. Also, I’m early-thirties, have never been pregnant, and I still don’t really want to have kids myself. So WTF, brain?

(Harry Flynn, from the game Uncharted 2: Among Thieves)

I get a little squicked when I see people calling him Harry. Part of this has to do with knowing him by Flynn so seeing him called by his first name is odd to me. Most of it has to do with getting a flash of unruly chest hair any time I read the name 'Harry'...
The only character I don't get that weird uncomfortable flash with is Harry Potter, despite know what a hairy beast Daniel Radcliff is.

I do my best to ignore it, but sometimes things just can't be helped.

I'm a little disappointed Birds of Prey isn't doing better at the box office, but I'm also evilly pleased because BOP without Oracle/Barbara Gordon is not my BOP.

(Secret because some of my IRL friends are excited for it, and I don't want to be a "Well, I Liked it Better When..." type of fan raining on their parades.)

I love it when authors reply to my comment's on their fics, even when they respond to everyone and don't say anything special to me in particular. I get such an embarrassing sempai noticed me type of feeling.
