In a way I agree, as I think the thought of Neon Gender Evangelion is incredibly sexy with the thought of Oskar/male!Rei hatesex and female!Kaworu seducing shy and timid Shinko, but I think part of the uniqueness of Eva was that it flipped gender roles and whatnot in anime.

Give Rice a Time Machine and Hamilton and Meyer a diet and that would be actually genuinely hot. (As long as they don't write or talk about their writing. Or religion. Or their TMI.)

The three make me think that there's a correlation between the attractiveness of a writer and the crappiness of their vampire fiction.
