Sheila would act all put-upon while secretly enjoying Caboose's nonsense rambling because it's cute and actually makes a lot sense when you stop to really think about it. And Caboose would have someone to keep him on the right track (er, to a degree) and who he can express affections to! It's perfect! :D

I have no problem with people who didn't like (or hated, or however you want to word it) the last two episodes. They weren't all that great, and it's sad because they probably could have been with a few adjustments (I agree, the grace thing was stupid).

What bothers me though is the number of people I've seen saying the show is terrible now. How they've lost all faith in Kripke, there's no way he can make the show good again. In 3.5 seasons of mostly wonderful and amazingly awesome episodes, we've had stinkers before. We've had plot developments that people didn't like before. But the show goes on and continues to be amazing for the most part. Why? 1) Because Kripke knows what he's doing, and although it may seems stupid and we don't have to like it there's usually a good reason for it in the long run, and 2) Kripke listens to his fans more than any other show runner out there and if something isn't working and it's not necessary then he'll change (which is why I'm certain Ruby will turn out to be very important at some point, why else keep her when fans hate her so much).

Hating the individual eps doesn't bother me at all, I just wish people would have a little more patience when it comes to the season and the myth arch as a whole. You don't know where it's going yet, and after three and a half great seasons you should trust Kripke.

I understand what you’re saying since I felt that way about the fourth season of Buffy which, episode-wise, was a real mix of really good, meh, and hideously crappy. But the problem I had with the last two eps is the problem I’ve had with the whole season, which is the arc itself. I was on the bubble about the whole angel thing from the start and after the last episode with fallen-angel Anna and the grace and the lame angel sex in the Impala, I just can’t take it anymore. I don’t want a twenty-some-odd episode debate about the true nature of angels. I don’t care. And I’m tired of being beaten over the head with how Dean is good and saved and special to angels and God, while Sam is supposed to be all evil and crap. I don’t want an epic battle between good vs. evil, brother vs. brother for the fate of the world. I just want two guys driving around killing the monster of the week.

I will say that if Castiel, etc. weren’t angels, I might not mind the storyline so much. I’m not a religious person, but I have so many preconceived notions about God and angels that I just can’t suspend that belief and be open-minded about whatever direction Kripke wants to take this. Joss could pull off a long potential-apocalypse story arc, but he was smart enough to 1) leave biblical characters out of it and make up his own and 2) not let the new characters overshadow the regulars. And he’d end the arc after one season. I’m pretty sure this whole apocalypse-angel thing is meant to stretch past this season into the next and last season, if there is one, so it’s not a matter of trusting Kripke and waiting it out. This is the show now.

I guess you can count me as one of the ones who’re saying the show is terrible now, although I don’t know where the others like me are. I wish I could find them. All I see is endless gushing over angels and Castiel and the whole Dean is angelic, Sam must be Lucifer way the show is going.

I like him because I feel the same. He just can deal with it beause he's running away while I am stuck here and can't just walk away.

Ahah, no seriously, tank issue aside, I think it could be cute for a little while, but it would inevitably end in disaster. Simmons and Sheila are just both way too passive-aggressive for it to work indefinitely.

102 - GOD IA. The second that they kept doing Dean/Castiel vs. Sam/Ruby, I was like AW HELL NO. I hate how they keep making Sam out to be ~dark~ and evil even though everything he's done has been for the good of them. Then when they had the angel/demon sex thing, I just got so annoyed with Kripke.

113 - lol I agree. Scowls are hot! even if Bleach is going down the shitter (and has been for a while), he draws some lovely men.

121 - Les Mis was the first musical I ever saw. (on broadway, holla). Even though Boubil and Schonberg can write some repetitive, trite crap... that show just EATS at your soul no matter what. God I sobbed when I saw it.

135 - rofl omg, me too. Even worse because I've sung a few Carmen arias (I'm a mezzo with a degree in music. lol useful). And every time, I think of that episode. haha
