Looking for some anime recs. what have you guys enjoyed during quarantine and what’s its storyline?

I'm really fond of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!
The protagonist is reincarnated as the one-note villain of a dating game which the protagonist had played in her past life, and she has to use her knowledge of the characters to avoid the death that inevitably befalls her character in all of the "bad ends". The only problem?

Our heroine is very, very dim.

What's your fav genre?

I recently watched Somali and the Forest spirit and thought it was very cute. I wish it had been longer TBH. It's about a human girl that gets adopted by a golem in a setting where humans are scarce/practically wiped out. They go on a journey to find more humans so she can be with them.

I've also watched some BNA, up to the sixth episode. I think the beginning is a rough start to be honest. It's a good concept but there's a lot of inconsistencies and I had a lot of questions and it doesn't feel like the plot really kicks in until episode six. So far my opinion of it is that it's rather basic but enjoyable nonetheless and if anything the wolf dude is hot. So I'd say give it a try if you're interested. With BNA it's about a girl who was human but one day became a beast person...thing. And humans hate them so she has to go to a city which is a sanctuary of sorts for them and then shit happens. (And to highlight some of questions and inconsistences I didn't even know if people were born as beastman or mutated into one...the entire time I thought it was an Ajin deal where people would randomly turn into one by chance).

I also recently finished the Fate/Grand Order Babylonia anime (not going to write out the entire name because fuck that) and it's very good. The animation is BEAUTIFUL. But it's also something you have to have a lot of background knowledge of the mobile game and Fate in general to understand anything that's going on. But...it's really pretty!

There's a lot of shows I have on my to-watch-list so I can't say anything about them but I've heard good things.

my forever fav is mawaru penguindrum. it looks at first like a slice of life semi-magical girl show? with penguin animal sidekicks. but then it gets weirder and darker w themes of destiny and sin and karmic retribution. i think the imagery is gorgeous and the soundtrack works so well w it to create something that, personally, is exactly my kinda vibe. i hope you like it!

i liked beastars! it's furry high school slice of life. but then gets kinda intense at the season finale. as anime does.

i'm in the middle of devilman crybaby right now. it's about demon hunting, with the main character ending up becoming part demon in order to fight said demons. i looove the monster scenes. [insert that one marge meme] i just think they're neat! i kinda gave up by episode 7 bc in general all the edgy~ stuff it was feeling tedious BUT my friend assured me there's "good payoff" so i'm gonna keep trekkin on through

The animes from this season that I’m watching are: (some of them are having theirs episodes delayed because of the pandemic)
Kaguya-sama: is in its second season now and, I recommend this if you like romantic comedies or shoujo. The plot is that two students are in love with each other but want the other to admit it first so they come it all type of stuff to make the other confess first, is really funny.
Bungou to Alchemist: is very similar to touken ranbu mixed with bungou stray dogs. The story is that historical Japanese writers are summoned to fight against “demons” that are trying to erase literature form the world.
Digimon Adventure: is the reboot of the original digimon, so if you want a nostalgia trip or really liked the first season I recommend it. I’m not the biggest fan of the first series and how much the franchise seems to only focus on with in the last few years and I think they are kinda rushing in the story but I’m curious in what they will do.
yu gi oh sevens: It’s the seventh yugioh series I watched all and I’m watching this too but it’s not for everyone, especially this one since they are focusing in a younger audience. The protagonist thinks that the way that the game is played is too rigid and no longer fun, so he creates a new type of dueling.
Argonavis from BanG Dream!: I wouldn’t recommend you to watch this unless you like me and want to play the game, the animations is just bad (the mix between sgi and 2d just looks weird). The anime focus in the college band Agonavis and they entering the world of music.

I don't watch much anime, but I just watched Cells at Work, which is like Osmosis Jones, but anime, following a red blood cell as she delivers oxygen to different parts of the body as various ailments spring up. It's pretty cute!

One Punch Man, finally to see what the hypes all about. Same artist as Eyeshield 21, so I was hating myself for not checking it out sooner! I'm in dire need to download the manga ASAP!

Cowboy Bebop, rewatching it after I don't even know how many years, and loving it every step of the way.

I have two. I just finished rewatching Rizzoli and Isles and just started rewatching Castle. So my Rizzoli/Isles and Esposito/Lanie feelings were brought back (yes, I ship Castle/Beckett too, but Esposito and Lanie are just sexier).

Feeling terrible. My doctor prescribed my hydroxychloroquine for my lupus (which was a whole *thing* to get a full month). And I don't know if my current problems (headache, muscle aches, nightmares, insomnia) are caused by that or stress or both.

I am also trying to hype myself up to apply for some jobs that I might not qualify for and will also require a lot more driving.
