Which production is that? Because that's the best Hotspur death scene I've scene, it looks cool. Hotspur doesn't get enough love.

It was from a production the Folger Shakespeare Library did this year. And his death was the most brilliant part of the production.

(I'm not at all saying you're either of those things, OP, just that if someone has issues with someone else shipping both het and slash they probably tend to one of those directions.)

Now, I'm not in the DC fandom, but I am in a shitload of others, and the one thing I've noticed is that female characters tend to get outright bashed at even the barest hint that they're manipulating somebody in a relationship, especially if he's a good-looking guy. So maybe one female character is not. One exception does not mean that your fandom is sexist or hypocritical; it just means that this girl is more compelling as a character than Edward is. Which, in my opinion, isn't all that hard to achieve. And remember, Edward is still adored by 90% of his fandom -- you just don't get all that many of the more rabid fans in this corner of the internet.

157. Bitch, please. I hope your bad karma comes back to bite you on the ass. The book is flat-out the best graphic novel in existence. It has a metric fuckton of fans, most of whom clearly aren't in the fandom, considering it's a relatively small fandom. And you want what could be a mindblowingly fantastic movie to do badly just so you can't get your lulz? Fuck you.

I don't think it has the potential to be a very good movie - at least not as made in the style of a Hollywood blockbuster. Really, that kind of betrays its innate meaning... Beyond that, it was made specifically for its medium. You're going to lose some of that in translation to the big screen. I think they're probably just.. going to play up the superhero action part, at the expense of everything else that happens.

119. The first time I saw Secretary it totally didn't click I was watching the original Daniel Jackson (I am a huge Stargate nerd) - I think I can blame that film for my crush on Daniel Jackson (the Spader variety) because I didn't really give it much thought until then!

Anyway. Perhaps he is. Anyone I crush on tends to be kinky in my dreams so I just pretend it's exactly the same in reality.

I don't particularly want to read fanfiction about them, but The Cruxshadows are one of my favorite bands, and I highly recommend them.

It becoming apparent that Starscream was never going to remember anything ever in Energon was one of the many reasons I finally gave up on it. And it had started so well. (And by "so well," I mean "with a nice heaping dose of focus on Demolisher".)

Anyways, I would like to link you to some ficly goodness, OP, but I have honestly not paid any attention to the fandom since, well, about when I gave up on Energon. So I have nothing to give. ~~But, I mean, if you have some good recs to give me, by all means....~~

I'll second your thoughts on Energon. It's like they started good, forgot where they were going, and then just made the whole thing up as they went along.
