I think mostly the show presents him and the things he does as morally grey and complex, and I think that this presentation is generally accurate and reasonable and well-done. It's a great series. (Also his name is Sisko, with a k)

Yeah, I stopped watching the Tudors early because of the graphic torture scenes, even though I was really enjoying the costuming and the female characters.
