Never tried them, I assume that pretty much all fast food dessert options are garbagio

Never tried them. But I generally hate Taco Bell food, so I'm going to assume not. For fast food Mexican, when I have the craving, I go for Taco Cabana. And all the desserts on their menu are delicious.

Haven't had them in a long time, but they're okay from what I remember. Liked them more when I was a kid, but you know... sugar and crunchy is always good, especially when you're a kid.

honestly nah. ya know, i am an absolute slut for cinnamon flavored stuff. but like with most fast food, i enjoy the idea of them more than the actual experience haha. in general, taco bell is never something i gravitate toward outside of seemingly random cravings once every three years or so.

in turn my food related question: is there any fast food item that you like as much as the advertising and/or cultural hype makes you think you would?

I always ate them as a kid. I have a vague recollection of desire and disappointment. But they weren't so bad. I didn't like that they were crunchy. I think it's mostly the nostalgia of eating them with my mom and brother on Taco Tuesday. IT used to be a nice outing for us, until the E. coli hit and we stopped eating there period.

My sister and I went shopping. I got my Lion King movie barcode poster framed! We had to get her foster dog a new leash since he is potentially being adopted tomorrow.

Tonight we are playing games and tomorrow we are going to make fried chicken sandwiches!

What are you all doing?

Depends. I was planning a Lord of the Rings rewatch. But I've currently got a migraine, and if that sticks around I'm not going to want to watch anything that loud.

If it does stick around, I'll probably watch a few episodes of Avatar: The last Airbender and then mostly just rest and sleep.

I have Toastmasters officer training on Zoom on Sunday from 1 to 5 as well.

Game night tonight with a couple of friends but I was dead tired so I left early.
There might or might not be a cook-out with a different group of friends tomorrow but they'll decide it at the last minute so I don't know yet.
I should tend to my little garden at some point; one of my pumpkin vines is blooming, yay! but why not the others?

I will absolutely try and find excuses to hold the new and cuddly chicks that hatched yesterday.

i have been in meetings all week about some fucked up shit that's happened in my area that a non-profit i am on the board of is responding to, or communicating with leaders in town to facilitate responses to. another board member told us he's got some mystery news tonight and wants to hop on zoom to tell us, so i'm crossing my fingers it's good news 👀

but i'm also ordering greek food tonight! so that'll be nice haha.

Need to make some job lists and then nag the person I live with into pulling their weight because flushing the toilet isn't "cleaning" it. Ugh. Then I'm going to watch Escape to the Country episodes and dream about being able to live alone and foster elderly dogs. I would sew them little jumpers and take them on adventures.

Heat advisory for tomorrow so I am likely going to do my damnedest not to break the seal. Even if my lawn needs mowing, fuk that shit.

Dunno what I'll do with myself besides attempt to sleep, be unable to sleep, and waste my day playing solitaire on the computer instead of anything productive. I wish I could just fuck off to the middle of nowhere but lol pandemic.

Trying to get my sleep back on a decent schedule (I keep going to bed late and waking up late) so I will be refreshed enough to make my early appointment for a mammogram later on next week. I'm also trying to watch some stuff that my latest crush stars in.
