4. Oh Lord, me too! Well, except my mum got me into House, about ten episodes into Season One, but I've been trying to convert her to House/Wilson forever. Well, not even trying to convert her, but trying to get her to see the potential. How can you miss the subtext, Ma???

9. I know... I entered on-line fandom at 13, over 11 years ago. Sometimes I wonder if the novelty has simply worn off, if the fandoms have changed, if I've changed, etc. On a good day, a cool bit of fandom news can still serve to brighten up my mood, but overall, the lustre has definitely worn off a bit.

9. Definitely. Up until about a year and a half ago fandom made me really happy. I was stupidly excited about stuff and fangirly. My old fandoms bring nothing but a risingly feeling of nausea these days mostly because of my old involvement.

10. While I dunno if that would really be considered a fandom secret ... I suppose in a way it is, and while hate isn't exactly my feelings these days, disgust kind of is and I can sympathized with this statement a lot. Met her through fandom, and it all went downward from there. Emotion sucking leech. I want to confront her sometimes, but then I wonder why. It's not as though I've had a lot of contact with her since 2003. Of course, spending the better of early summer one year crying because of her lying bullshit makes me want to say something if only to tie up loose ends.

Nothing wrong with House/Cuddy! :D Although I'm a hardcore House/Wilson fan, if there's anyone I'd want House to realistically end up with, it's her. <3 (My mom seems to like House/Cuddy, which is SO much better than her liking House/Cameron, though I AT LEAST WISH SHE SAW THE HOUSE/WILSON RIDICULOUSNESS. 4. Me too. Me too! I got my mom into House, and of course, I'm the one who introduced her to the concept of slash. (She thinks it's a generational thing and is. . .amused by my enthusiasm for it, even if she doesn't think she understands it. She's not interested in shipping House/Wilson just yet--then again, she's only seen through the first fifteen or so episodes. I'm curious to see if the vibes come off as strongly to her as to me, when we get to some of the later ones. :))

My sentiments exactly. She's unbelievably manipulative, and like this horrible, sucking... emotional vampire. Preying on your compassion and empathy and friendship and then fucking you over. She did quite a number on me and my friends. It makes me angry to know she continues to do the same to others. And when I've tried to warn them, so few listen. They think I'M the crazy one.

My condolences. I just stopped paying attention to a lot of stuff ages ago, so until recently I was clueless as to what she had done to others.

The worst thing is I doubt any of us are naive people. She was so good at what she did, she played with everyone's emotions, made us all think she was a victim.

I think about the way I spent weeks crying over her ... and now it just makes me really physically ill.
