Did the dishes, did my nails, doordashed some tea, watching the super bowl (idrc who wins, go Chiefs, I guess). Leftover homemade fried rice for dinner. Nice quiet day.

Went on a walk at noon, almost died on the slippery sidewalk. So, went back home. Went on another walk at 3 and was able to get my steps in. My thermal underwear worked! Now occasionally updating the Reddit Super Bowl commercial thread.

Didn't sleep much last night, but also didn't take a nap. Super tired.

Made blueberry-apricot muffins. They turned out pretty well.

Watched a bunch of Youtube vids.

Just went out to pick up our Sea Island dinner. Probably going to crash early after dinner, though I do want to wash my hair first.

Mostly lying in bed feeling awful thanks to the usual chronic illness stuff, while catching Roselia in Pokemon Go. (8 shinies. Pity I already had something like 9 and didn't need any more... I was just hoping at least ONE of them would have decent IV. :P)

Now lying in bed feeling awful occasionally catching Dark-types in hopes of getting that badge to platinum tonight. Purifier went platinum last night, I was hoping to complete Ice too but that's gonna take a little longer. Probably after the current event stops spawning Dark there will be more Ice so maybe tomorrow.

I have gastric pain. I am deeply deeply worried about this because it can be a sign of covid. I have vulnerable people in the house with me and I am shit scared.

It would also be the second time round with covid for me, and i'm still suffering the after effects of the first infection. :(

Going to be taking my mom to the doctors so she can have a routine bloodtest. Also will either deep clean my room later or get started on fixing my backpack.

Because of the FUCKING ATTROCITY that the Watch series seems to be shaping up to be, I always want to remind people that the BEST Vimes casting would be Rob Brydon.

Although, I will have to conceed that however terrible the rest of the stuff they're doing on that show is... I think they nailed it with Carrot.

The Going Postal show got Angua down pretty good.

Nobby was too human looking, I think, but that was always going to be a problem. Add on some prosthetics and I think the Hogfather version of Nobby could work.

Robbie Coltrane to play Colon.

I was thinking Dawn French for Cheery, but it's possible she's too old now, but back in the day I think put on a beard and she'd have been perfect. I think, and I admit you'd be stretching camera trickery to it's absolute limit, but if you could make Miranda Heart look short, she could work. Whichever one gets Cheery, the other one as Sybil To be honest, Miranda Hart would be my first choice for Sybil OR Cheery.

Vetinary Would be Jeremy Irons.

I realized the other day that 2013-era Dane Dehaan, but with white-blond hair, is how I picture post-series Draco Malfoy.

I just want Mads Mikkelsen to play Revolver Ocelot in the metal gear solid movie. I feel like he'd be peeerfect for Ocelot at that age, and Kojima already adores him, it all just makes so much sense!! ;_;

Disney+ within half-hour show recs?

Recently been given temporary access to Disney+ and was wondering if there were any shows/cartoons to rec? Preferably anything within half an hour an episode (I keep meaning to watch Frozen and Hamilton for weeks now, but I never seem to have the time for it) - I've seem Gravity Falls and been watching a couple of episodes of Recess so far.

Gargoyles is amazing. WandaVision is a lot of fun, and I don't particularly care for the MCU. Apparently the Rapunzel show is surprisingly well done but I haven't watched it myself.

Wandavision is pretty great so far but if you know nothing about the MCU it may be a bit hard to follow.
The new Ducktales is pretty good.
If you haven't seen the Pixar shorts, I recommend those.
I know lots of people who love the both animated Star Wars series (Clone Wars and Rebels) but I have not personally watched them - same with the Rapunzel show.
I rewatched the first 12 seasons of the Simpsons first thing when I got Disney+.

If you could have any musicians collab on a song, can you state who? And why?

I've got a number of them -- sometimes I wish I could hear some rock & r&b musicians pair up for a song. Or even some darker...indie? Genre is PJ Harvey? Just I want to hear all kinds of sounds meeting and making sweet sweet music!

Right now, I'm going to go with Romeo Santos & The Weeknd making a summer jam to end all summer jams as we walk out of this pandemic *spontaneouscombustion.gif*
