It's a snark comm on the level of fanficrants. I used to be a member, albeit under a different username. There's snark and whatnot, which is to be expected for a rant comm. I enjoyed it for a while; the ugliness and infighting amongst its members behind closed doors (ie. IM, spin-off 'elite' comms) is what drove me away from the comm in disgust and led me to stop using my 'safe and inconspicuous fake internet alter-ego' to hide behind.

It's also been dead for a long time, so I honestly don't see the point of joining now.

It's more like I'm too much of a pushover to decline friend invites from people whether I like the person and their videos or not and I can't bring myself to be honest about their videos because I like pleasing people despite how much I hate not meaning any of the praise I give. I kind of feel obligated to pretend to be nice if they've been nice to me, even though I don't have any interest in them. If they never friended me and never gave me any attention I may arguably be more happy, though still kind of lonely and disconnected in a fandom I really want to enjoy.
And the sucky fandom comment was not leveled at them or any people in it by any means, just at the fact there seems no way to find fans who share more interests with me beyond a very general like of the same game, or even series, and my first fandom was just so great for that.
