3 or 4 hours of sleep last night. Exhausted. I tried to pack some boxes today and got yelled at by my sister for doing them wrong. So now I'm in my room, away from everyone else, listening to youtube vids.

Also, I've pulled a muscle in my upper leg, and it is pretty sore, so I currently have a heating pad on it.

Watching my niece and nephew so my sister and BIL could go to dinner by themselves. Kids are exhausting, glad I don't have my own.

Also, had to unfriend some highschool friend on FB because he was being weird and messaging me.

Lots of outdoors for me today. Including ummm, kinda swiping some sprouting wild plants from the park because I discovered jewelweed over there last year and it was awesome. Found a spot that is inaccessible for most of the year due to swamp and overgrowth and dug a bit there.

So much for taking it easy in hopes of being in good enough shape to attend outdoor church tomorrow. Maybe I'll be lucky (or given the context, blessed).

Redoing my Animal Crossing island because I got really mad about something and what a better way to take out my frustration than to build stuff on my island.

Just wanted to comment on something. It's amazing that there are people out there who go, "oh my god, I'm sooooooo anxious, I'm having a panic attack you guys I cannot handle all your chatter! I'm sooooo anxious!" Then treat everyone like scum beneath their feet. This is the weirdest power tripping I've ever seen. Like give me sympathy because I don't know how to NOT ADVERTISE MY EVERY WHIM AND FEELING ON THE INTERNET. But, I'm in a position of power in this *unnamed group* so I can treat you all like shit because I'm soooo much smarter, funnier etc. than you. Oh and I'm friends with the right people. Fuck that noise.

Someone posted a new piece of fanart after months of the fandom having virtually no activity! I'm very grateful and probably overly excited over such a small act but thank you so much random internet stranger! It made my day! :D

I saw the most beautiful man tonight. He was so pretty. Physically, idk about him as a person. But he was so lovely to gaze upon. My friend said i should have said hi. But i didn't see the point, so i didn't. He was already with friends and looked the type to have the women on rotation. Or at least have them fawning over him. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just the impression I got. Maybe a bit deeper. Who knows.

Or if you've never created anything for fandom - if you could choose just one would you consume fanfics/fanart/fan videos/etc?

I write fics for the Silmarillion fandom. Mostly PWPs along with a couple other one-shots in other genres. It has been a while since I've written, honestly. I started a fic like a month ago, but then real life got in the way, and I haven't had time or inspiration to work on it.

If I could only consume one thing, it would be fanfic. TBH, while I enjoy fanart, I prefer fics. And I don't really watch that many fanvids.

Only ever fic - and like the poster in the secret above, I have rediscovered the joy of writing this year and although I only have two fics up on AO3 (everything was on lJ previously), I'm loving the buzz of getting feedback on something that ultimately I did for myself.

I've only ever made GIFsets for various fandoms. A ton for Band of Brothers. Also, going thru my old gifs, I found these I made for F!S.

I started out with art, then tried fic, did voice acting for some fan radio plays back in the day, threw together a few vids, and then started cosplaying. I... think that's about everything. Still do art/fic/cosplay regularly.

...I just really like to create stuff. If I'm not creating something I feel like I might as well not exist.

Fanart, mostly. I've written a couple of fic but just as gifts for a friend. Icons as well! I want to get back into icon making. Blow the dust on my old icon comm and go back to posting there.

As for consuming, I love reading fics, specially of my rare OTPs so I'd go for that.

Fic, Mario Paint compositions, and music videos back in the day (avoiding it now because copyright claim is a bitch). Tried VA but my voice sucks, I guess. And when people don't hate it, their projects never make it to production anyway.

I write fic. I've written for a few fandoms thus far, and am still finding more to write for :). I've just always liked to write ever since I was little, so it felt like a natural step for me to get into fic writing.

If I had to choose just one to consume, it'd be fic, simply because I read much more than I look at fan art or videos or things of that sort. I just don't often think to actively seek out fan art or fanvids much of the time.

But I have much appreciation for those types of works, too, and I've seen some good stuff from each out there :). That's one of the great things about fandom, there's something for everyone :D.

I've only written for my fandoms, and have done a birthday...journal, i guess? where i got people to write things especially for my bff for their birthday, and post it all secret.

I really can't do art, don't do podfics, and can't beta worth a damn (I always want to change things based on how *i* would write it, despite it being fine as is), and so i write and cheerlead.

used to make icons but gave up two months ago due to personal reasons. I make fanmixes occasionally.

I do fanart. I'm trying to get better at it, but I don't have much time to practice. But it's very satisfying. The best part is when you can make gifts for your friends. Their reactions are worth it. :D

- Fanfic, but most of it was a long time ago, and I was never very prolific.
- I noodled around with some very, very elementary-school level fanart.
- A fair bit of meta, which is nobody's favorite thing, but the only thing I'm actually good at.
- Fanmixes, back in the day when fanmixes were a whole thing, with "album art" and meta blurbs, and youtube|download options for every track, etc.
- One really, really hardcore pickspam.

I dabbled in fanart, but I prefer fic. I went through a long spell where I didn’t write any and suddenly got inspired last year. It felt really good to write something totally self-indulgent for my current OTP.

I have been hacked and still may have privacy issues. I want to keep all my private (even if they're no longer private anymore because they've been seen by others) bookmarks but want a new name. What should I change-- my username or a pseud? (I only have one account name.) I don't want to lose any bookmarks; I saved people's stories because I love them.
