I dunno - I've only ever eaten fast food in the US, and 99% of it just tastes...gross to me. Greasy, weird, gristly, not fresh.

From strictly The Crown -- not really interested in discussing the real people -- my one point of empathy for Charles was that he was born a man. I kept thinking that his passivity could have been an asset to the family if he had been a woman, but he was unfortunately born to a role where he was required to stand up for himself. And he failed miserably at that.

What region are you in? Because I've lived in multiple parts of the US plus 3 other countries, and in none of them would it be okay to tell someone whose cat died that it was a bummer.

It had a mild zing to it, but wasn't particularly spicy. The sweet chili sauce had a bite to it, but still not super hot.

I got the BTS meal because I'm a huge sucker for items that aren't normally available. I'd seen pictures of how the meal looked like in other countries and expected it to look like a BTS-themed happy meal, but there wasn't any special packaging or anything and that was a bit of a letdown. The sauces were decent though.

I've never liked this episode. It doesn't make me sad exactly, just kinda pisses me off? I'm not sure why. I love my dogs, so it should've struck a chord with me, but it left me feeling annoyed.

I feel bad for Camilla in the way that people generally feel bad for women who clearly have no self-respect. Charles, on the other hand, was too much of a wiener to stand up to his mother regarding his love life, too entitled to not have an affair with the woman he was too cowardly to marry, and too stupid to keep the affair discreet. Hard to dredge up much sympathy there.

It's pretty cringey in CW shows too. "Just bing it" said no one ever. Followed by a loving closeup of an internet hotspot.

Procrastinated on a fanwork project (yes, something with a deadline) by playing a bit of Valheim. Surprised myself by beating the boss I needed to beat, solo. Got caught off guard by a swarm at a portal-posing-as-a-real-base. Nearly had a damn cow because I couldn't get in the damn door at the most critical moment to get to the portal.

Then realized it was a blessing in disguise. I don't intend to return to that place, and when you are out of range of the base attack, the attackers stick around until you return and have experienced the entirety of the attack. And since only one attack is done at a time, every other base I've made is technically off-limits for the time being. But just in case, I'm removing every little structure that makes a location qualify as a base, at every other base.

Anyway, I made a ton of progress today and I'm pleased. Created the necessary structures and items I need to progress further. Though to be honest, I don't think I'll go beyond maxing out my new equipment until the next stage of the game is released.
