150. I actually think a huge portion of the fandom is disillusioned with her after the final book. Not the majority, probably, but enough that you wouldn't be alone in thinking that someone else could have tied things up in a less distressing way. Her being the author doesn't make her an infallible storyteller, it doesn't mean she can't write things that are ooc for her own creations. She's a good world-builder and creates exciting plot, but characterisation is not her strongest skill as a writer. She's very inconsistent with her characters -- that's the real problem people have with CAPSLOCKRAGE!Harry. It's not that his anger isn't justified, it's that it came out of nowhere with no real development for it, and it wasn't the same tendency that Harry'd had in all the books prior. The same thing with Lupin. JKR wants something plot-related to happen, and she uses the character that fits the SITUATION the best. That doesn't necessarily mean that the actions the character does in said situation fit the character best, based on everything we've been given beforehand. It's one thing if it's revealing that personality information in a plot-useful way (as the stuff with Dumbledore, Snape, James, etc said a lot about their character and why their lives turned out the way they did), but I didn't feel that was the case for Remus. The only point I saw to that abandoning-family bit was that Harry berated him into staying, and as a result Harry was made Godfather of the child, despite that being the most illogical choice they could have made. Yes, she said "this happened", and it did. That doesn't mean it makes sense for the characters, really.
