Is anyone else desperate to see the evidence from the code breakers team that points to Gary Poste being the Zodiac Killer?
Like I would love it if the case was solved, but I just want to see something resembling proof.

I don't think there is any evidence. I think it's total bullshit.

First of all, I don't trust them. Second, if they had real evidence, they'd have shared it to start with. Third, it seems like most of their claimed evidence has to do with the Cheri Jo Bates murder, which is only connected to the Zodiac Killer tenuously at best. Fourth, the whole "murder posse" narrative seems extremely unlikely and unbelievable to me. Fifth, apparently Poste was 6' and slender, whereas Zodiac was most likely about 5'8 or 5'9 and stocky. And sixth, I'm not an expert on the cipher stuff but I'm given to understand that the claims they're making are extremely dubious evidence.

Yeah. I won't hold my breath because a lot of people have claimed they know the identity of the Zodiac over the years and well, there you go.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and I'll try my best to use an appropriate image choice. Er, just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made.

I am writing a fanfic for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. I'm planning to put it under an entirely seperate account far removed from my main account because I know it rubs lots of people the wrong way.

I'm very nervous and conflicted about this and I hope I don't get hate.

I just really like the possibilities of the setting. And underdeveloped mage community that doesn't have an arbitrary aversion to modern technology

Just once I'd like a show/movie I have an OTP in to end with both of those characters still around and still alive. They're either split up by death or distance and it's bumming me out. I don't expect them to actually get together, I just want some hope.

Even though I love playing the games Undertale and the recent chapter of Deltarune, part of me hates it because its the one fandom where I get crushes on the weirdest characters I can never tell anyone about.

(Fandom: Teddy Altman/Hulkling and Billy Kaplan/Wiccan, Young Avengers)

These two first appeared in comics in 2005 as 16-17 year Olds. Now in 2021, they're suddenly older and married and ruling space and whatever.

I'm a little annoyed because most comic characters don't age in-story so fast in so short a time, if at all. The change in scope and focus with the characters is disconcerting to me. Is also made reading fic about them a mixed bag of quality.

(Bonus secret: These two are the only reason I give any kind of damn about the MCU right now, because everything is pointing to the Young Avengers coming in eventually. But I think Feige is going to screw it up.)

I am so fucking tired of celebs and their drama and their stupid mundane rich people lives and the way the modern internet shoves it all in my face.

I've felt this way for a while but today twitter is telling me that meghan trainor is defending her side-by-side toilets that she shares with her husband and I guess that is my breaking point

Literally had a dream about the John Mulaney Divorce Drama a little while ago.

Which would make sense if I had been really invested in it and all, but no. Not at all.

(not that I'm judging people who got invested-- I've been emotional over a celeb divorce before too)

I have had it with Kpop 'mistreatment' posts/videos. There are actual cases of mistreatment (extreme starvation diets, terrible living conditions, hitting trainees, etc) that happen in Kpop but the posts are invariable about how their fav didn't get enough promotion for their new single.

I feel like I am going to explode because mismanagement (if even that!) is not mistreatment!
(Do they want me to defend CUBE because I will!)

I don't think Squid Games is anything ground-breaking. It's literally the Hunger Games and Alice in Borderland.

Bonus Secret: the policeman Hwang Jun-Ho's plot was absolutely useless. It added nothing to the plot and ended nowhere.

I never made it past the first episode of Over the Garden Wall, which is odd because for the most part the series looks like it's right up my alley and I liked nearly every aspect of the episode I saw except for one crucial thing. I absolutely cannot stand Greg. Like, I think I get what they were going for with his character, but to say it didn't work for me would be an understatement. I just found him to be so utterly obnoxious that it overshadowed my enjoyment of the rest of the show.

Still, I must say that I deeply and sincerely respect his choice in headwear. Gotta give props to a kid who's always ready for teatime.

I would like to see more farm AUs.

Partly for the novelty.

Mainly for one character watching another manhandle a sheep for shearing and getting that oh moment.

I had no idea there's a musical adaptation of Cyrano de Bergerac starring Peter Dinklage coming out in December, and at first I was super excited.

I still am, really, but after going looking for more info, there's people saying Dinklage can't really sing, and that makes me sad. I love Cyrano de Bergerac and musicals and I've enjoyed Dinklage in everything I've seen him in, but musicals where the lead(s) can't sing* annoy the shit out of me.
