Yeah, asshole, it has occurred to me that it would be nice to live in a world where all forms of animation were somehow possible, UNFORTUNATELY, the DIPSHITS with financial agency have decided that CG is the only viable form of animation because it's like- futurist and shit. And cheaper. Or something. So pardon my bitterness, but now that I'm not using analog photo anymore and digital video has been shoved down my throat you'll have to pardon me for circling the god damned wagons around my hand-drawn animation because it's not like we're being hired for anything these days. Okay? Okay. Lasseter's one feature film notwithstanding.

I agree! Rogue Demon Hunter Wesley, with his vast bank of knowledge and insecurity, was an awesome, unique character. Once they toughened him up, the only times I liked him was when he was doing something wrong - when he stole baby Connor, and when he was with Lilah.

102 - Me too for both pairings. I've shipped Margene/Ben right from the start (I assume you're aware of

margenexben) but it's this third season that's made me ship Ben/Sarah. Previously I've only shipped her with Heather.

116 - I haven't seen the "someday" icons (I guess my ship means I don't hang around anywhere they might be posted) but your secret made me laugh. There's no telling what route the show will take with regard to this pairing, I just hope it stays as awesome as it is now.

131 - in just about anything OTHER than that movie? yes. shes hot, but she just tries SOOOOOOOOOOO hard to be sexy sometimes that its really offputting. all she really has to do is BE THERE and shes sexy, theres no need for going so over-the-top.

142 - i used to work for disney, and on my very first day there i got stuck in the neverending sign-this-paper-sign-that-paper-id-pictures-etc line next to this ridiculous chick that was basically saying the same thing - that 3d animation cant possibly be any good, it only looks pretty but the stories suck, disney should be ashamed of itself and go back to the classics, etc etc etc. i wanted to smack the stupid right out of her.

People write and share what they enjoy. I'm sorry you're not getting enough of what you want, but I think it's rather sad that you're so disgusted by something that's just a part of life.

Also, I don't know which fandoms you hang out in, but it's easy for me to find non-sexual fic and art. Very easy.

And gratuitous romance isn't somehow deeper than gratuitous sex.

152) That's fine: Look for fics that are labeled G or PG, read gen. But before you go too nuts, you have to realize that you can get all the things you are looking for in the canon. And there are a bajillion options available to you. Hallmark puts out at least 3 new, well written romances a week for you to turn to goo over. There's Clancy and Koontz and tv shows every night all brimming with what satisfies you.

However, fandom is the only source for a lot of female oriented smut and kink. So if you are going to go into the one space where what we like can exist, you are just going to have to put up with it.

I wasn't being coy. I had to get it off my chest before I actually told her.

Frankly, when I read that secret I didn't even notice the "stupid b*tches" part -- I was too busy being disturbed by the "would Edward like me" poster with the "Edward's..." username.

Now I can't figure out which one the secret-maker was talking about: the insulter, or the freaky OP. But I know which one makes me lose my faith in humanity, and it's not the one using silly insults...

(I swear I already said this, but couldn't find my post anywhere...must've not gotten through)

Ack, reading this makes me feel so bad, because while I try to avoid RPF, (It makes me really uncomfortable and I always feel horrible and ashamed after reading it), I tried to convince myself that looking at pictures of my favorite band that just sorta accidentally happen to be fanservicy was "OK"...but now I'm even feeling bad about that, especially when I specifically look for pictures that fall into that category :/
