I love 2D, but my favorite form of animation is Stop Motion. I also love puppetry. The fact that CG has replaced it (Ugh, MirrorMax) makes me dislike it. It just doesn't have the same...spark of life that pupptry has. To me at least.

(I still watch CG films, however, I just don't care for the style)

142 I just wish there was more in the way of 2D animation coming out of the United States, that's all. There's no guarantee that Disney is going to completely switch back to 2D, either, just because they're producing a new film in 2D (although I'm really glad that they are). And I can't help it if I prefer 2D to 3D animation. I just like it more, I like animated line drawings that are done by hand over figures modelled in 3D. That's just my preference.

I mean, the presence of a sex scene in a story doesn't mean there's no plot, and it's not like you don't want sexual feelings...unless you're in denial about romance being a sexual emotion...

I think the OP's point is not that they don't want sex to happen, but that actually reading about the sex does not do anything for them (hence reading it for the romance and chemistry, not for the sex).

Can see the frustration here, but I guess authors write them that way because they do not believe there is a market for female heroines that do not act and behave like 'modern women' are supposed to act.
