Like... taking characters from one series and making them act out existing skits from a different series? I kind of feel like that trend's been going on longer than Tik Tok, though not necessarily in video form.

Basically everything on TikTok is based around audios (songs, dialogue clips whatever) and making them fit different scenarios, so this isn't really a trend as much as the whole concept of the app.

The church is Presbyterian. Ned is clearly more of an evangelical kind of religious person. Ned seems more orthodox than other Springfield citizens so I doubt baptism is that important.

Did you know that at one point in history, Christians were encouraged to grab Jewish kids off the street and baptize them so they could have Christian souls? That is neither here nor there as far as this secret is concerned, but it reminded me of that horrible fact.

Yeah, I always thought that was weird too. At the very least, Helen Lovejoy would be talking shit about Marge and Homer because "can you believe they never got their kids baptized?". But there's an episode where Marge says that Helen is Lisa's godmother, so who knows?

I'm the exact opposite: I'm super glad that all my faves were de-canonized and are incredibly unlikely to be brought back because towards the end (LOTF, FOTJ) they were treated like garbage and I don't trust any of the new canon writers to do any better.

I also wouldn't want them to exist in a universe where the Sequel Trilogy exists. At least now they're in fanfic heaven where the existence of the First Order can't touch them.

I didn't laugh out loud, but I did think it was really funny when the mental image of Sangwoo getting bitch slapped around came to mind. Like, he's probably one the most desperate of the lot given how big his debt is as well as his fall from grace, it must have been buck wild when he was being recruited at the subway station.
