Saaame. Mine was court ordered because my dad accused my mom of trying to alienate me from him. One therapist actually let me dad sit next to him in a chair with a notepad while making me sit across from them on a couch. I was a kid, but even I could see what they were trying to do. I don't have a good impression of therapists as an adult.

I never understood the idea of people seeing cartoons/anime as body goals. I wonder how many people this actually affects, because to me, it's too far away from reality to see as a point of comparison, unlike photos which parade themseleves as being real even when there's editing.

This recent trend of secrets about how villains are portrayed in the media and how that corresponds to real life bad guys has been... special. Like, it's not completely without a valid point and I love Mel Brooks. But this argument overreaches massively. Trump is and has been a joke for quite some time (The terrible comb-over? His inability to string together coherent sentences that demonstrate an adequate grasp of... well, anything? His general appearance? Grab 'em by the pussy? The golden shower tapes?), and it hasn't helped because his demographic either doesn't get it, doesn't care, or finds those things laudable rather than risible.

Even if Hollywood went right back to portraying villains as awful, mock-worthy villains, it's not gonna fix things, OP. I doubt it'd even have a significant impact.
