I want to agree, but I can't. I do agree that Blackbeard doesn't have to have Taika's specific background (Maori/Jewish), but the writers have been pretty purposeful in what racism they included. The French captain calls Blackbeard a donkey, and later Blackbeard turns the "you all look alike" line around on a white guy.

Soooo I see all these ads on TV for things to solve vaginal dryness, and as a woman in my 30s, I just have to ask--if you're not having penetrative sex, is vaginal dryness a problem? Because I'm sitting here thinking "so maybe no more discharge ever? that would be gREAT." Am I missing something? Vaginal dryness sounds like a feature, not a bug to me.

I have had this issue even though I haven't gone through menopause yet (though I did have a hysterectomy). But I have endometriosis and vaginismus, and I'm often in pain down there. More dry means more pain.

Whedon is a sexist asshole. But some of the works he created were good. I love Buffy and will probably always love Buffy. Angel is pretty good. And I enjoy Firefly. I'm not going to spend any money on any of his media because I don't want to give him money. But Buffy is a great show in spite of its terrible creator.
