As for transphobia (she's literally unafraid of trans people, BTW), well, trans women/men are simply just that: trans. They can't be cis after their surgeries no matter how hard they wish it. People are allowed to hold differing opinions whether university students like it or not. Welcome to reality.

Why do you have such a stake in denying transgender people their identity? It's kinda baffling. I'm a cis woman. As far as I'm concerned, transwomen are women, period, end of sentence. Doesn't bother me, doesn't 'scare' me, doesn't make me mad, or uncomfortable or freaked out.

They're women, and that's all there is to it, same for transmen are men, period, we're done. I truly don't get why 'you' or anyone else would give a fuck.

Trans women and cis women are both women; trans men and cis men are both men. By saying "trans people can't be cis people" you're setting up a false argument that nobody is making. Of course trans people aren't cis people, those are two opposing words. But it doesn't make a trans woman any less a woman, or a trans man any less a man.

Nobody is saying trans = cis, wtf. And people are absolutely allowed to hold differing opinions, but when those same people start lobbying for, donating to, and otherwise supporting legislative and community action geared solely towards taking rights away from other types of people, we're allowed to speak up against the aforementioned and publicly disagree with them. That's reality.

I'm a trans man, and I'm not *trying* to be cis. I wouldn't want to be. I just want people to let me live. Most trans people aren't trying/wishing to be cis, we just want those of you who are to stop being fucking weirdos about policing people's gender and genitals. Trans women are WOMEN, full stop, and they don't need to be cis for that. It's not an opinion to say that they aren't, it's transphobia. Or do I get an opinion on whether you really are any given intrinsic part of your identity? You'd be whinging on like a little snowflake pretty damn quick if a group of people took every opportunity to knock you down and make a point of saying you're not who you know yourself to be, and that's without the threats of literal violence any time you go out in public, doubly so if you need to pee.

We're not the ones who need a welcome to 'reality'-- we're all too aware of the real world, and people like you shoving their 'opinions' where they aren't wanted.

As for JKR's antisemitism, look at Blood Libel: The Video Game. Or don't-- I doubt you were asking in good faith to begin with, given everything else you've said. (but also, 'I read half the source material' isn't exactly a gotcha here)

Most trans people WOULD like to be cis and not having to deal with dysphoria, life long medication, expensive medical procedures and constant transphobia and prejudice directed their way, thank you very much.
