Does ff.net still have people working there (either as staff or volunteers) or is it a ghost site that just still has visitors? I mean someone must be paying for the servers.

On the topic of things an existing site does better than any other available site while still clearly being flawed, has anyone else ever wished someone would take FFN's beta-finding function and staple AO3-style tags to it?

The main problem with the idea is that even FFN's version only works as kinda-okay as it does so far because it was unleashed on an already-established userbase; trying to make a new site for this thing would definitely be a complete flop...

I wish AO3 would take FFN's tagging style, tbh. The tags on AO3 are a real shitshow.

What are your thoughts on dressing up in cosplay or an outfit inspired by a character to see a movie or show? Is it eh, pointless or just fun and like dressing for a convention?

Inspired by the fact that I'm going to be seeing the Death Note Musical and I'm genuinely thinking about dressing up as L minus the hair style.
