Have you seen all the things these sorts of people (even on Encyclopedia Dramatica where "lolcow" arguably originated) consider "worthy" of the label lolcow?

When I was 16/17ish a girl in my fandom around my age had her own page just for being 1.) a teenage girl 2.) dumb and cringe online in the way teens ARE 3.) having a fancharacter.

Literally. The most basic silly teenage kid thing in the world.

They also tend to see people like "autists" inherently mock worthy for existing.
The whole concept of lolcow is fucking ableist bullying of mentally ill and young people. It's akin to a playground bully shoving a younger/weaker kid down and then mocking them for crying.

It's disgusting. LGBTQ, neurodivergent and mentally ill people are not your entertainment source. They're human beings.

LGBTQ, neurodivergent, disabled, and mentally ill people are all there as users.

It's not your fault that you weren't taught resilience, but the world doesn't owe you anything. No one has any requirement to like you or be nice to you merely because you happen to have some identity marker, and the whole idea that they do leads to people with certain identity markers thinking they can be absolute abusive pieces of shit.

You wanna be seen as human? Stop asking to be treated like you're something different, someone who should be set apart. And log off if you don't like what you see on Kiwifarms of all places, a forum you can't even get to now unless you try really, really hard to find it. I don't even know how to get to it, and here you are talking like you're there on the regular. It's your own fault if you're actively seeking out places that make you upset, and seeking them so hard that you have to use fucking Tor to get to them.

I used to follow someone Kiwifarms considered one of the good ones. He was very careful about which things he talked about to which groups of people, because he’d be a “lolcow” if they knew more about him.
