OH man, yes. Early Bones seasons in general were so good. I'm still mad at them for ruining it all.

Disappointments and Surprises

What media that you were excited for disappointed you? What media ended up being far better than your expectations?

Yes. Honestly, they should have stopped a few seasons ago. This stuff was just still to fresh in people's minds and too likely to cause issues.

Ugh. I have this same annoyance with bloggers who post glamour photos of actors, but don't just tag it as the actor's name, but also five last shows/movies they were in, characters they played and, for good measure, the most popular ships of these characters.
Seriously, if I wanted to see what an actor was wearing at the latest event, I'd go to the actor's tag. When I'm in the character's tag I only want meta and fanart.

I can't with her stuff at all. Every single book picks one historical figure and makes them out to be perfect and then demonizes everyone else. I don't expect historical fiction to be completely accurate, but that's not even good writing.

Pretty much everything Transformers related post-Bumblebee movie and post Lost Light comics has been a crushing disappointment for me. I think I'm actually done with the franchise now.

Godzilla Minus One surprised me though, went to see it just out of a ADD sense of completionistism, and didn't expect to enjoy it since it is basically everything I dislike in Godzilladom. It is a villain-zilla, a short-zilla, and a human story-zilla, all it was missing was a Kenny, but I really enjoyed it. The Legendary team could stand to take notes on how to shoot a Godzilla movie, without clouding the view with darkness or murky cg weather (although, I'd like them to continue with the mega-kaiju monster smackdown movies and a defender-Godzilla, just with better Godzilla shots).

I don't think they should have even gotten that far. They didn't have to do Elizabeth's whole reign just because it was a show about her. They should have found a place to stop a few seasons ago that didn't touch on the stuff that is still really painful for the British people and also very likely to get them sued if they weren't careful.
