Cooking some chicken drumsticks, also going to have leftover pizza (thin slice) and roasted veggies. And some pasta and bread (small portions).

I've got some flatbread that I think I'm going to smear some (jarred) pesto on, sprinkle cheese, some leftover mushrooms that need using up and pop it into the oven and call that pizza.

I don't love being surrounded by a bunch of people, so going to concerts aren't a regular thing with me, but I got to see The Cure maybe 10 years ago? And it was a lovely, chill experience, the band was great and I got home without my eardrums buzzing painfully.

MCR at The Forum for their reunion tour is the best concert I’ve ever been to. I couldn’t stop smiling and the crowd’s vibe was so good. I’d seen them live before the reunion tour, but they had a whole different vibe this time and they looked like they were having so much fun! I rode the high from that concert for weeks.

The Emilie Autumn Opheliac tour. Honestly had my best concert-going memories from that one with all my favorite songs being performed and getting to see the feather dance for the Dominant track in person.

It’s a toss up between Rush, who I didn’t really even like, Tool, and The Rolling Stones. They all had the most amazing shows with crowds that were just so into the music and the experience. I did see the Stones more recently and it wasn’t as great, but that seemed more to be because of the venue. Queen’s Olympic Park Stadium is just too big to get good acoustics.

I enjoyed seeing Utopia in concert back in... I think 2018? They performed a mix of stuff but it was wonderful seeing 3 of the 4 guys together (the new keyboard player was a young dude but pretty talented in his own right). It wasn't "quite" the spectacles their shows of the 70s/80s were but the music more than made up for it. (Besides, the projector worked just as well for imagery, IMO.)

I don't do too many concerts for similar reasons and also some sound sensitivity with really loud stuff. But my dad used to review classical music when I was a kid. I loved going to Tanglewood every year. And there were some really amazing concerts with John Williams music we went to.

Saw Mumford and Sons for the Gentleman on the Road tour. So much fun (two day festival) but nothing something I'd ever do again. The heat was brutal.

What fanfic would you write if you were a better writer?

Why the fuck do people choose the weeknight for a session to perfect their fucking T-ball game? AND SO CLOSE TO OUR BUILDING?

I don't care how skilled a batter they might be, do that shit far away from the buildings. Preferably near the forest so that they can get eaten by a wild animal for their stupidity.
