Any series or shows or games you can think of where the male characters are in as equally skimpy and/or sexualized outfits as the female characters?

I havent played in ages but I remember being really pleased I could get equally skimpy armor for my male characters in Tera.

I remember the original Guild Wars had equal opportunity armor choices.

no, and the few cases where a crumb is thrown just make it more obvious. Assassin's Creed has one or two outfits per game where male and female versions are the same, but all the rest especially the DLC is man in head-to-toe coverage, woman in miniskirt and boob armor. Baldur's Gate only just, a year after release, allowed mods on console for people who cracked the code to let men wear women's skimpy clothing, but even then it's not official, it's an amateur unpaid mod.

Shirtless man on his own isn't sexualized, if anything it's male power fantasy to be all chest and abs going into fights from manga to games. The thirst is up to the viewer to read into it, and there's far more disagreement over whether shirtless pec man bloodied and fighting is seen as sexy (given that he is almost never meant to be sexy).

I liked in AC Odyssey you could change the skin to any armor, so I had my Alexios wearing female armor.

I'm not sure if I necessarily agree with the latter part. I'm pretty sure the standard shirtless muscle guy is supposed to be sexy and badass in the sense that it is a male fantasy because at least part of the reason men want to be the guy is because he'd in theory be sexy to women.

"Meant to be sexy" and "being sexualized by the pov gaze" is different though, and I'd agree the "being sexualized" pov is rare

Final Fantasy XIV. I have both a male character and a female character there and I can say that there are a LOT of armor sets that have the dudes just as tits-out as the girls.

I agree I think with the exception of the Gold Saucer where, if I remember well, only female NPCs wear skimpy bunny outfits, and maybe also the Dancer class. But you do see a lot of player characters with very few clothes, both men and women.

Well, not skimpy clothes per say. But I always loved that Legend of the Seeker was fairly equal opportunity with the nudity. We got a decent amount of male nudity played up as clearly sexual. Spartacus was the same. Craig Parker sure wasn't ashamed to show it all off. :)

Metal gear games, anything by kojima honestly. If there's anything about how sexualised his female characters are, it's that the dude goes pretty hard on the men too LOL. Maybe not as hard I suppose but there's definitely fanservice that goes both ways.

I believe there was a Speedo beach scene involving Kaz and naked snake somewhere out there so uhhh.

In Dragon's Dogma 2, some of the better "armour" is skimpy and you can dress both female and male characters in it. In Baldur's Gate 3, you can make any character wear the skimpier camp clothing or underwear. Looks a bit different on different bodies but it's equally skimpy.

I am shocked. Apparently, he fell from a third-floor hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. He was 31 and leaves behind a 7-year-old son. Rest in peace.

I wouldn’t say I’m a One Direction fan, but my little sister adored them and I like a few of their songs. She’s so heartbroken right now. I feel really bad for her, the fans, and his loved ones.

He threw himself off the balcony, which is a bit different from falling. The first responders were already en route because he went psycho in the hotel lobby and had to be carried to his room. It’s even odds of his family will hold the hotel liable for him drugging himself and swan diving off the balcony as coping mechanism for getting outted for stalking, harassing, and sexually abusing women.

Heard this earlier today, so sad. I don't know the whole story or what he may have done, as someone not familiar with 1D other than liking some songs. I am sad for his family and for the situations leading up to this.
