What ships do you think would absolutely break up right after their HEA at the end of the movie?

I'm convinced Aang and Katara break up for a while and then find each other again. I like them, don't get me wrong, but they both need time to mature before a real HEA.

Aurora and Philip are an obvious choice. They barely know each other.

All right, you got me. What the hell is an HEA? Google tells me it's Home Equity Agreement but I strongly suspect that doesn't apply in this context.

Game not movie but Final Fantasy 8 - Rinoa and Squall. I just can't see that relationship working out, all things considered.

Ross and Rachel after the end of Friends, with how awful they were together and could never get their shit right there's no way it worked out for longer than 3 months before they broke up again and Rachel then finally leaves like she originally planned.

None of them because fictional romance isn't realistic nor should it be, especially in genres where "HEA" is a known and widely-used fandom term.

A lot of Disney couples, unfortunately. Like, I don't see Tiana and Naveen lasting, for example. And as much as I love Aladdin the movie and him as a character,maybe not him and Jasmine.

Screw the epilogue, Ron and Hermione.

Canonically (in the Speed franchise), Jack Traven and Annie Porter - most realistic thing about the sequel.

The Cutting Edge, I like the movie, I like both Kate and Doug, but no.

At some point, in the not-too-distant future after the 2005 film, I feel like Mr. and Mrs. Smith will succeed in killing each other.

I don't think any couple in Grease will always be together.

Pretty much any romance in an action movie. Once the adrenaline wears off you realize those hormones didn't actually mean love.

What is everyone doing?

It is my niece's birthday tomorrow so we will be having her party. And I am 10 rounds away from finishing her crochet balloon dachshund! Tomorrow will be last minute cleaning and cooking for everyone to get here. Sunday will be recovering from that.

Mom and I are going to see Moana 2 tomorrow and the hit the Apple store to pick up some things I ordered.

Sunday we're going to see a local Nutcracker production.

Sleep. I worked Black Friday in my store today and that was enough. I'm so glad it's my weekend off and when I wake up me and the gf are going to have a look for Christmas lights for the new tree.

A little online shopping but not much else. I usually don’t take advantage of Black Friday deals because I hate crowds and I don’t want to contribute to the holiday crush for the delivery companies. But my area has Amazon delivery now so I got a couple things. My non Amazon orders are outdoor gear that I’ll either pick up in store or they won’t even ship until after Christmas (new down puffy, mittens, and an EE APEX quilt).

Roommates are traveling so I have the house to myself for a couple weeks. We're supposed to get snow this weekend, so I plan on curling up with blankets and reading in peace and quiet. I'll probably bake some cookies, too.

Friendsgiving tomorrow! Each person picked a different cuisine to bring a couple of dishes from. I'm doing Greek, my partner is doing Egyptian, and I'm not entirely sure what the other two are doing. :\a We'll probably play a Call of Cthulhu game or something.

Working on presents! Editing pass for a Secret Santa fic for a fic exchange on here, and recording an audiobook for Hubby.

If I've got some more time, cleaning, decorating for Christmas, and home server maintenance in that order.

Dumb fandom rant

I recently got into a new fandom and have a new ship. It's been fun, as new fandoms/ships are, but the problem is that there seems to be a fairly significant overlap between this new ship and my NOTP in another one of my fandoms. I have no idea why because other than the fact that they both consist of two white dudes, there's zero similarities between the two ships...one is hero/hero, one is hero/villain, none of the personalities are similar, the dynamics between the two pairings are completely different, etc.

I'm finding myself not really enjoying the new fandom that much anymore because it's starting to get really hard to avoid people talking about the ship I hate. I've blocked the tag on Tumblr but there are still people talking about it untagged. Assholes.

...I know this is dumb but it's annoying.

I finished my crochet balloon dachshund! I think the ears are a bit too big but at least it can stand up on its own. And its huge.
