Do you do anything with your non-dominant hand?

I've switched to using the mouse with my non-dominant hand it's relieved some stress on my dominant hand/wrist/shoulder, plus it's oddly fun. It's not that hard but just tricky enough that it presents a fun kind of challenge.

Yes, my dad was left-handed so we all learned to use the mouse left-handed. It just makes sense when you're doing data entry with a number pad on the right! My partner is also left-handed, but she learned to use scissors right-handed.

this sounds crazy but I'm left handed and I always hold an ice cream cone or bar with my right hand. I feel like I'm going to accidentally drop it if I hold it with my left and I haven't got the slightest idea why. I eat everything else left handed.

I am both handed. Not truley ambidextrous because I can't switch back and forth but I do about half and half. I can write with both hands, but it is easier with my right. I use scissors left handed, and play most sports left handed. I paint and draw right handed and crochet left handed. I eat with my left hand but cannot use a knife left handed at all for some reason.

Yes. Actually, I have mixed dominance. I write with my right hand, but I do most other things with my left.

yes, I regularly switch hands when doing outoor labor - raking, shoveling, etc. it really helps my back to not have all the stress on one side with such repetitive motion, and I've been doing it around 10 years now so I'm no longer as weak on my off side. output is roughly equal now.

Huh, I didn't think of this an example of handedness. I always change over when gardening because I have arthritis in both wrists and my lower back and they need a rest sometimes. But now that you mention it, I think most people do gardening with one hand dominant.

They do (stay with a dominant side), I can attest as my partner who sometimes has to help with snow just. Can't. No amount of trying has made them capable of switching like I can, and we talk about how much it would help with sciatica if they could. It only seems to work with large-scale simple movements, I can't even switch hands for sewing or chopping vegetables or anything fine.

Yes but I’m truly ambidextrous. But if I don’t think about it for a long time, I will do all the fine motor tasks left handed only (this is a right handed trait) so every once in a while I remind myself to switch. Muscle memory is STRONG!

I’m one of those lefties that was forced to be right-handed, so yes, I do. But I switch often so now I’m fairly equal in my usage.

I am very right-hand dominant. Even when I shouldn't use my right hand, I try to. It's pretty automatic. I have to really concentrate to do something with my left hand that I would normally do with my right.

I try to, but my right hand is really dominant one, my brain got absolutely stuck

I switch between right and left hand during fencing, not least because we do on occasion dual wield as described in Di Grassi's manual, in our HEMA club.

And it's good to build strength in your non-dominant hand regardless. The initial discomfort for a right handed opponent when you start left handed is fun too.
