I know you are going to get a lot of crap for this secret but you're right as far as ethnicity goes, although I would add that if she identifies as Jewish based on her heritage that's good enough for me. Also, if she converted she's a Jew no matter what (for whatever that's worth, I've never seen Glee).

OMFG, get over yourself. Reform Jews accept patrilineal descent, for starters. There's also the possibility that she was converted as a baby or that her birth mother was Jewish.

um....what would the situation be if she had two mothers? What if the non-biological one was Jewish? Would it then bother you that Rachel was Jewish? Judaism is passed on through the birth mother. This has been discussed at great length in Judaism. It only matters what birth canal you come out of.

Also, based on her clothing, she is definitely not Orthodox and almost certainly not Conservative (although, there is a lot more room for debate on that one). And for Reform Judaism, being raised in a Jewish household by Jewish parents is enough to classify you as a Jew.

Well, I'm going to take a wild guess and say since her two dads know the surrogate mother, the mother is jewish. I mean comon Lea just LOOKS so fucking jewish I don't think they could've made her anything but except maybe italian... since she's got half.

Plus I have a friend who was a bastard child who was raised by a single jewish father and he defines as jewish. It doesn't have to be something so selective.
