I don't think The Mighty Nein is as good as Vox Machina. The characters are certainly less memorable for a start. Half a season in and I'm still struggling to remember TMN character names.

During that Thanksgiving episode where it's revealed that a young Chandler made a crack to Ross about not wanting to be left with his "fat sister", I was anti their relationship in the future. I know he apologized, but I hate bully/victim ships in any iteration. If you can't be decent to a woman when she's overweight, you don't get to start when she's thin.

I adore Christmas movies (not really a secret) and I adore a good amnesia trope (even less of a secret), but somehow I managed to miss in the previews that the MMC knows exactly who the FMC is the *entire time* and is just lying to her. "Because the doctor said no stress." That is the most bullshit excuse ever. *And* there's a subplot about him breaking up with her "for her own good" back in the day? Even worse.

I don't think I've ever gotten the ick faster with any movie (or book, or TV show) than I did with this. The increased focus on the religious aspect of the holiday (as opposed to the social aspect, which is most of the rest of the genre) just cemented it. Ugh.

Secret because who am I really going to complain to, anyway.
