Favorite holiday food

Christmas ham (usually honey baked ham), but I can't do that anymore or at least have to greatly limit my consumption.

I miss baking cheesecake around this time too.

I love all the holiday foods, honestly. Big fan of turkey, mashed potatoes, etc. But my favorite is the post-holiday turkey noodle soup my mom will make.

Latkes. Especially when they’re small and get really crispy.

We usually have them for New Year’s, but probably not this year.

I am a big fan of a big turkey and some stuffing and cranberry sauce, which used to be my family's twice-a-year holiday meal, but now the Christmas dinner the past couple years has been a main I can't eat and I really miss that Christmas turkey. My devotion to turkey is second only to the dad in A Christmas Story. I cannot get enough. For desserts, I'm a big fan of all of them. (my forever girl, pumpkin pie, did not make an appearance at this year's Thanksgiving and I don't hold out much hope that she'll show up at Christmas... but at least there will be cookies and cinnamon rolls. Because of how many people are under the weather this year, I might not be making it over to visit relatives, which means I may be eating cold pizza on Christmas this year, but you know, that's fine, too)

Just waiting for my husband. Postal carriers generally have it crappy this time of year... and unfortunately, while he hasn't had to log as much overtime as usual the reason is bad (our moron-in-chief's big beautiful economic policies).

Chatty coworkers

Does anyone else have coworkers who talk constantly? All of my coworkers are nice people, and I genuinely like them, but they are all extremely talkative, and it just wears me down. One in particular narrates every single thing she does, she honestly should be a Twitch streamer, because she is capable of talking nonstop. It just exhausts me to deal with it all day long. I'm pretty introverted, and sometimes I just want to say PLEASE PLEASE CAN WE HAVE SOME SHHH. I can tune it out to some extent, but I feel bad if I'm ignoring someone who is talking, so I feel compelled to respond.
