Age regression simply be a plot, though. Some character gets cursed and wakes up 12 years old, nothing romantic or sexual happens, then they find a way to cure the character. It's a generic old plot, nothing kinky about it?

That is de-aging. Age regression is when an adult in an adult body "regresses" to the mental age of a child or infant. This usually includes diapers, pacifiers, babytalk etc.

The way it is being written. And I have only seen it being written with toddler or infant mind regression. But there is a very specific style and points every fic like this hits and trust me, it is absolutely a kink. You should look some up! Could be an interesting night for you.

I'm not arguing that people don't do diaper and infant kink. Trust me, I've seen it, doesn't really do anything for me.

I'm saying age regression isn't always kink, and talking about it like it's always kink is not accurate. That's all.

da but the secret doesn't read that way. it mentions characters with pacifiers and diapers which i assume doesn't mean what you're talking about here. the secret maker is talking about untagged diaper kink and weird infantilization shit which is never not a kink and always needs to be tagged.

Yeah, that's the weird part about the secret which people are pointing out. Diaper kink and ABDL stuff is absolutely a kink, and should be tagged. But the age regression trope is not always that?

Nope. Age regression is the one. It can all be overlap and confusing if you are not into it or haven't encountered it.
