I've been through a similar situation, OP - or, well, I guess I am in a similar situation. It kind of sucks, but maybe if you stop being so resentful of B you could really learn to love it? Or just do something to remind your friends of A, because they're probably still interested in it, just caught up in some shiny new thing. Hopefully if none of that works out, though, you're still good enough friends that different fandoms won't keep you apart. Good luck. *hugs*

If they actually claim it's the SH2 version (or have other SH2 characters in the pic) then I see your point. But I think some people just like to draw the pointy helmet because it's more complex-looking than the SH2 one. (I like them both really.)

I went through the same thing in college years ago. I was co-authoring a story with my abuser. We were so involved with it, I was so involved with it, and she put me through so much shit. Emotional abuse and manipulation, isolation, mood swings. One day, when we were driving back to school, she started to hit me.

One night in the bathroom, I had a breakdown. I couldn't stop crying, couldn't stop shaking. And yet, I still didn't know how to get it. How does this story end? She threw a knife at me. That got college administration involved. Months later, stupidly, I tried to patch up our friendship (we had a story, after all, to write) and that eventually ended with her threatening to kill me. Finally she was removed from campus and I was smart enough to just let it die.

If you can, find yourself listening/watching either a youtube walkthrough or as much as I hate to rec it, a Let's Play. There is so much missing information I've found on the Bioshock wiki that you can discover from the game. The audio tapes especially.

I was scared when I first started to play it, but only one incident really freaked me out (lights went out in one area suddenly), but it's pretty tame on the easiest mode setting.

(I still refuse to play Silent Hill though)

Ah, Hetalia fans. There are some really bright ones, and then there are some who are just... silly. I can think of plenty of beneficial things that come out of reading or watching Hetalia (even ones related to history, like people above have mentioned about it increasing interest or being useful as a study aid), but learning real history? Honestly? I do hope that most fans know that the portrayal of events is quite inaccurate.
