Upon clicking for more information:

Tinypic International is changing. Beginning September 23rd, you will no longer be able to upload content to Tinypic and your links will be turned off. Please begin using Photobucket to upload, share and link your images and videos."

This is probably the reason so many tinypic secrets are messing up.

With YouTube, Hulu, etc. it's annoying but at least they could argue copyright/licensing issues. With TinyPic it's just plain stupid and arbitrary. (From reading comments it sounds like the UK, Australia and Canada aren't affected by the ban.)

I don't understand why TinyPic is shooting themselves in the foot like this. Once word spreads, why would people still want to upload their images to TinyPic if the rest of the world can't view them?

If you have a Tinypic account and are from outside the US, the only images you can see from Tinypic are your own. And to even do that you have to log into their site. :\

You can't upload anything new, and if you try to use their provided links to post your images somewhere else, it won't work.

Wow, everyone's really pushing the whole "the internet is for Americans" shit. Hulu, Youtube, Tinypic, etc.

And I'm sick of Photobucket's shenanigans, too. Everytime I upload something it looks fine -- but then, a couple of days later, it's been resized (quality-wise, not actual pixel size). It's not like the stuff I upload is that big either; the last pic I had problems with was 50kb when I put it up, and then I went back and found it all blocky and gross at 20kb in size.

Yeah, that happened to me too at PB, that's why I left (I had a Pro account, ironically). All my .jpg files were heavily compressed and all my icons were terribly pixellated. So from 30kb icon I had 8kb icon. :/

Never heard of imgur, but Imageshack, while VERY easy to use (I depended on it for quite a few years), was notoriously horrible in that images popped out of existence just like that.

Dropped like flies. Often within days or weeks of being uploaded!

While other pictures linger for years. It all seems so random. o^o;

If something's really big and gets viewed a lot, though, it goes bye-bye for a while.

This is nothing new, they blocked several countries months ago.
At least now it affects Europeans (who actually matter or so it seems) some other hosting will be used.
