Yeah, I take some obscure joy in using decades-old exclamations, because I often feel that if you get a phrase that's foreign or dated enough, it can often have an impact similar to modern profanity, due to how much it stands out, except with a little bit more classiness than your standard "what the fuck" or "holy shit".

Awesome vid! Mr. Fry makes a massively valid point about the word "fuck" and how its use as a swear turns sex into the very worst thing in the world when it isn't. This has a lot of negative gender implications attached to it I won't even bother getting into.

But anyway, on-topic, I too notice the lack of swear words where swear words would be entirely appropriate. I tend to fill them in myself. Also, if you want to see the lack of swearing on TV turned into a hilarious running gag, feast your eyes on The Middleman (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1122770/).
