I was a lot like Pinkie Pie in my middle school-high school years. I was coming my shell, I was a shy and overly sensitive kid...I think all her randomness/hyperactivity is just motivated to make people have fun and laugh, it's why I did it and still do it, even if I have mellowed out over the years. I was lucky enough to meet my Rainbow Dash and we had the best time together!

The second half of season 6 made me a die hard Destiel shipper. Before that I was just favoring them but perfectly aware that there was very little canonical proof of it. Then TMWWBK happened and I got my canon. Now I ship them hard.

It'll be a long way (season 7 perhaps,) until I see the Sam/Castiel potential. It seems like now, with the shattering of the wall, they would be more at odds than anything.

I only just discovered the NKOTBSB mashup from the American Music Awards last year, it was like my soul was lifted angelically into the air, ripped to shreds by random helicopter blades and then, after plummeting back to earth, was eaten by baby kitties that proceeded to fart sunshine and rainbows with the residual bits of awesome.

Which is to say it was rough in spots, and that killed my childhood a little bit, but I still loved it to pieces.

And even though I was a child of the 90s, I was always a little behind the curve on popular trends, so while the rest of my peers were geeking out over BSB and NSYNC, I was all about the New Kids.

I have flown a total of four times and every single time I've had the window seat that's next to the wing. On one flight I had to switch planes and both tickets were for this seat, and I wondered if people intentionally avoided this seat for that exact reason. Four out of four times?! Maybe it's also partly because you're dressed up as a snitch. Which is a thing, and not a person with an outfit that you can imitate. So I can understand why people wouldn't recognize it right away.

Thank you for caring :) I'm sure they were just jealous or immature & I probably shouldn't have been upset about it, but I was so depressed when I came home from the premiere that I had to make it a fandom secret :p

I think I was so upset about it because I put so much time, love, and care into my costume and was so excited to go see the movie...I felt like I was shining and then I got horribly insulted.

Not to mention the fact that I have hypothyroidism ( a disease that makes you fat ) and I have always been made fun of for my weight although it is a problem that doesn't come from overeating or being lazy or any other "typical reasons for a person to be fat".

Blah - screw them anyway. I'm gorgeous & talented. Haha!

I occasionally write indy fic; Shelley/Nana (http://em25.livejournal.com/252641.html) and Steen/Sabin (http://em25.livejournal.com/222373.html). My problem is that I can't write fast enough or consistently enough to churn out the bunnies constantly parading through my head these days, and most of the time Machine Guns fic gets preference. I can't resist that dynamic.

neonaxelgrease writes indy fic too. Off the top of my head, I know she's written Aries/Roddy, KoW, Davey/Tyler, Claudio/Sara... it's definitely worth poking around her fic tag.

But Davey's true love will always be Super Dragon. Davey and Dragon, sitting in a tree... somewhere, Davey has an exercise book with 'Davey Dragon' and 'Dragon + Davey 4eva' written all over it and covered in hearts.

I know this is late! But I just thought I should say that there's the Homestuck Shipping Olympics going on and I am actually on the Jade/Karkat team! We have 11 members last I checked, just short of the maximum, and we had 12 until someone had to drop out due to time constraints! So there should be more fanworks soon. :D

You and me both, OP.

I was born around the time that New Kids started to get big (1987), but I had older sisters who were in love with them (in fact, they convinced my mom to semi-stalk them by following their car to their hotel after a concert one night). As such, I grew up loving them too. One of my sisters loved Donnie while the other loved Danny, and they told me I was gonna marry Joey (there's even home video of me talking about it. LOL!). :D To this day, I still love Joey, but I'm a total Donnie girl now.

Regardless, I love their fusion with BSB (who, growing up in the 90s, I of course loved). I hope that both bands continue to make music and, what's more, that they continue to be the awesome super-group that they are.

There's not many people who have even bothered to read PS, even though they make themselves out to be massive Homestuck fans.

Honestly, it's sort of sad.
