That scene totally had me at the edge of my seat and with my mouth on the floor. I've never been a Gwen hater i actually kinda like her. But that scene made me LOVE her.

The phone call after Jack's shag sort of cleared that up. They've always had this tension but Jack was all 'But we have each other and that's all we need' and Gwen was like 'i don't know Jack-OMG! RHYS!!! OMG! BABY!!! Gurl, Bye, i have to go, idgaf about you' and Jack was all 'Gwen? Gwen? Gwen?' on the phone.

To me that was the way the show said to the new viewers 'She might have this tension with Jack but she loves her family and they'll always be first.

I have no hope any longer either, but mine ran dry long before the reccent disasters. I've seen moved on to Godchild, and just can't find it easy to have the same interest in X anymore

You'd be surprised at how many people really do this. It's in her book; Alison Arngrim has actually had people physically attack her because of people confusing her with Nellie Olsen. She's actually spent her whole life being called a bitch because of the character; it's the basis of her stand-up act, IIRC.

To be fair, Tonks is the one that is less attractive between these two and I dislike that pairing because it didn't make sense to me. I had shipped Hermione/Lupin so hard since POA and was convinced Hermione was in love with him until the latter half of HBP............

Old-school comments today!

7 - NGL, the library ghost gives me the biggest "eek!" moment in the whole movie, and Large Marge is freaktastic.

23 - O HAI THERE YOUNG!SHATNER. I preferentially sit over the wing so I can see that the flaps are working, but on the few occasions I've flown at night, I admit this has crossed my mind.

25 - Creepy Photoshop is creepy. And Lupin's not supposed to be that handsome, but then again, I suppose Snape isn't either.

36 - Isn't it fun how Sentinel is such a crackish-crossover-ly series even now? I gotta go back and rewatch it one of these years.

39 - I am still miffed that one story I wrote several years ago gets fewer hits than anything else of that length and type I've ever written, just because I have an OFC who has a past relationship with one of the canon characters (who is a known womanizer) appear in like three scenes. At least no one's accused her of being a Mary Sue yet.

Oh man, haha, I used to do that when I was a kid. Not so much with the purple prose but everything else, probably because those OCs were wish-fulfillment characters and being a bit braver/better/smarter than everybody else was part of the wish-fulfillment.

1. That's why Nakano Fujoshi Sisters exists! It's a girl group of self-proclaimed wota/otaku of something, who dress up as guys to form the group Fudanjuku, who then hit on female idols. It's a beautiful thing.

25. I think the majority of people are honestly just pissed Remus/Sirius never worked out. But fuck yeah, Remus/Tonks is an amazing ship, was probably my first OTP, and I've loved the ship so hard since OOTP.

30. I haven't seen Miracle Day yet, but everything I've seen so far is kind of making me re-evaluate Gwen.

I started hanging out with a bunch of gamer guys recently. I didn't hide that I'm a raging fujoshi. They've all been really cool about it. Some were fascinated. Some tease me in a good natured way. Some actually share my interest. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Also, as previously stated , there's no requirement that new people know EVERYTHING about you. You can be geeky without being fujoshi.

You're playing the NIS America Versions, yes?

That's why you find it tasteless. They did a piss poor job of translating the games to the point there's a huge fan translation project, with 2 specifically, to translate it correctly.

A lot of the problems with the games clear up with a simple understanding of Japanese which NIS America does not have. >->
