I think the OP is merely pointing out the hypocrisy in that it'd have a flourishing fandom if they were guys; not that the OP wishes they WERE dudes, if that makes sense?

Wow, you were even more upset than me. Of course, you did have a better reason, since you were upset about the sexism while I was more like, "Nooo Crys was my favorite I want to be her not this random new kid!!;.;" ...But yeah, I eventually bought Soul Silver since I didn't want to be the only one in my class without a PokeWalker. >.>;; Still couldn't bring myself to play as a girl, though.

Sorry to hear about the misogyny. :/ IA; it does kinda suck how every single Pokemon girl has to be all cutesy while the guys just wear the normal clothes you'd expect someone to wear while traveling around on foot. At least the girl from BW was better...?

Off course it depends on what you consider to be normal.
hehe:) I was just making a random example that didn't really matter, I am more a person who talks a lot and have problems showing and understanding emotions, I base most of my responses to things from what I see on the telly and such. And yes at times I do spend a day in front of my laptop watching telly, but I also have a need to reorganize all my books and that takes a day too and then I really don't like to be disturbed.

Off course there has to be an understanding and differences are okay, what I am trying (badly) to explain is that yes one can be different and happy, but when you have problems like I do, you can't just be with someone who is completely "normal" because even if they tried to understand me, I would just feel bad because of all the times they have had to adjust themselves to my moods and my emotional shortcomings.

Whoa that was TMI... Ah well, back to my Sherlock episode now...

Well no I don't necessarily trust them. Hell, chances are they're a nut job.

But as someone who believes in moral facts, as long as they follow those, then what they've done is just (obviously the moral calculus here is absurdly complex).

Appeals to the masses doesn't really change that.

God this sibling rivalry between two parts of the fandom really is tiresome. I can only imagine how much the rest of the fandom (Granada or any of the hundred other versions, or for that matter those who stick with ACD) are rolling their eyes at it.

If you have a favorite that's fine. It really, truly is! You got lots of company! I'm a BBC fan and I love the new movies as well! I'll happily squee about the new movie with you.

Generally speaking, I seen lots of women arguing for more female characters in anything. Yet when they're given an opportunity like Noir it's suddenly overlooked. I mean, why bother asking for a better and more deserving pair of female characters if they only time people pay attention to them is when they're genderbended into guys? :/
