And find a way into Narnia (and start a revolt, seriously, why do animals need human monarchs? It's racisist, colonical griffin dung), run The Labyrinth (not for Bowie!Jareth, funnily enough, I juat want to know if I could beat it) and become a magical ninja (because, dude, magical ninja). ;___;

Better question. Why do they need monarchs? Why not an council, or senate, or elected leader? That way it's not all based on who you're related too!

So, the animals have their own religion and culture, which differ from your own, and want a monarch, but you would launch an outsider's coup in their country because they don't know what they should really want, and you think their religion and culture is stupid? You would force them to accept your own system of govenment, rather than their native system? Because who would you be revolting against? The talking animals are the ones who wanted the human children as their monarchs.

Yeah, I'm certainly seeing racism and colonialism here.

(Though as a backup I'm waiting to pick my starter Pokemon, which is a bit odd considering that came out when I was in my thirties.)

I almost feel this way about Supernatural, except I'm not sure how to phrase it.

How about waiting for your angel to come so you can say yes to being a vessel? Or waiting to meet a hunter who can train you? Or waiting for the Winchesters to come to your town so you can help them?

I cried on my 11th birthday when my Hogwarts letter didn't come. Haha. I was so upset. I tried to argue with my mom and brother that it just got lost, and then my brother ('cause my mom didn't read the books) would argue back that if one didn't come they'd just send more, like they did for Harry. I screamed at him that they only did that for HP 'cause he was important, threw something at him (don't even remember what it was, but I know it was hard!), and locked myself in my room and just cried some more.

Talk about humiliating childhood memories.

And omg, I want my own personal dragon, too. I want a black one, though, with a purple sheen to it. :D

I'm both waiting for my Hogwarts letter and waiting for my dragon to hatch. I'm also waiting for my Jedi master, waiting to be called as a slayer, waiting to discover my superpower, and waiting for the Doctor to choose me as his companion.

What can I say, I have a lot of fandoms and a very active imagination.

haha. I admit I was a little disappointed when I turned 25 because I was too old for impression. (But never too old for a fire lizard. ;D )

I could say the exact same, but def not for the same reason. Let's say more along the lines of Jeremy Thatcher, Dragon Hatcher.

I'm waiting for my transformation locket so I can be a Sailor Scout.

Clearly, my cat is Luna's lazy delinquent cousin. Or perhaps he just lost it somewhere. Or traded it in for a catnip mouse.

Even before I knew of this series I was waiting for a dragon.

This dates me but I still want to catch that magical carnival ride to the land of Dungeons and Dragons (the 80's cartoon.). My magical weapon would be the bullwhip and I'd be Tiamat's BFF etc...etc...

I have to admit I'm rather relieved to have made it to adulthood without running into any Dahl witches, or being plucked by my bedroom for a midnight snack by a passing giant. Shit, you don't even know how hard I looked at teeth for signs of blueishness, or wished I had bars on my windows.

Still waiting for my Wizard's Manual.
