Re, three: really? I've frankly always thought the exact reverse!

I easily find longer, or more plot-centric fic in "Western" fandoms, but I've come across more daring and engaging executions in anime one-shots. Of course, it's probably a question of which fandoms we all venture in, but still - cute to see a contrasting opinion!

Disgaea 1 is related to 2, but you can play 2 perfectly well without having played it first. Axel isn't in the first one, anyway.

Really, it's not surprising. Disgaea 2 is about a zillion times better a game than either Kingdom Hearts. Also, Disgaea's Axel is described as rising like a "freakish garbage phoenix." I want a band named that.

Seriously, where is everybody? How are there not even small wads of crossover fic or art? Where are the cosplayers? ;_; (I mean, come on, the company that released the game has official Prinny hats and everything!)

24 He has some nice art, though. I'm not a fan of his anime style, or his "I'm feeling lazy and going to cover this by overstylizing it" style, but his more realistic art like for the character designs of FFX are just gorgeous, and he has some really nice shading on some of the Kingdom Hearts pictures.

I'm so with you in some ways. I mean, I loved his art and it was a major influence for me for quite a while. I think I've still got something of his style in mine. But he's really become the George Lucas of Final Fantasy VII, and he's made me fear sequels to my favourite game, rather than look forward to them.

Um, I write a lot of rape fic because I like writing it. I have no idea why and part of me is ashamed that I write it so frequently and really wishes I didn't, but I write it anyway.

While I can understand where you're coming from, OP of Secret 8, with regards to finding non-con fanfic, I can't understand for the life of me why it's anyone's problem but your own if noncon in large quantities makes you feel iffy and you won't pace yourself. It's not the ficcer's fault for making the fic available: it's certainly not their fault if they've been certain to include disclaimers. Almost all the non-con ficcers I know are absolutely scrupulous as regards content warnings, and I'm no different.

If you know overdosing on rape fiction makes you feel ill, why keep reading it? It's your responsibility to stop reading. Blaming the author for making it available in the first place is like blaming the guy behind the buffet cart because overeating made you feel bloated and ill.

Who hates Luke? Why do people hate Luke? DDDDD: He's possibly one of the strongest people in a recent RPG I've played - he makes mistakes, he picks himself, he gets stronger and becomes a better person.
