I am in total agreement! It's one of the best cartoons I've ever seen. I don't think watching any one cartoon should be considered more childish or un-cool from another.

3. I envy HP fandom their selection of great fic and great writers so very much. T_T And I swear, I'd. . .I'd *do* things (TERRIBLE AWFUL THINGS) just to get some of the writers I've read in HP fandom or any number of Western fandoms that I read, to write fic for a certain one of my current crazy little anime fandoms.

isn't there a rule about the percentage of good writing to bad? in a fandom as large as HP it stands to reason there'd be more 'great fic' if not thing than by virtue of sheer numbers.

my experience with HP has been an overwhelming amount of bad fic to good and I have an awesome flist of incredible anime fic writers so I suppose it's all about perspective.

24. The characters in VII were only designed the way they were because of the limited graphics of the PSX. That probably makes it sound even worse. I liked things simple but he really likes to make characters overly-complicated. Ugh. I hate how the characters of FFXII look. It's like random crap all thrown together. Basch looks like he's wearing pot holders on his chest. =\

23. I tried reading Discworld and I'm not sure if I like it or not. I got so confused I had to re-read certain paragraphs to get what was going on. I do like the idea but the writing, slightly confusing. Then again I don't read as much as I used to.

1 - Oh god, I love that show. And I wanted to RP Jade so bad it hurt sometimes. And I used to draw her in my sketchbooks. And one of my original characters for a comic had a hairstyle based off hers (I AM NOT OBSESSIVE AT ALL.)

Took me a month to finish Phoenix, while my sister took a week so she was like has this happened yet? Ohh you've got a good bit coming!
I take pride in knowing I finished Prince in 2 weeks, she was reading my copy so I wouldn't let her read it while I was!
And I'm now 45 pages from the end of Hallows!

17. Yep. I know how you feel... I've seen a lot of people on the net express the exact same thing. I hate how it feels like I have to force myself to read the 7th just so that I won't get spoiled.

25. Bwa? I wasn't aware that people hated him. Hahaha... I understand people being pissed off at him before and during the giant "IT'S NOT MY FAULT!!" exhibition, but as far as I know, people find their peace with him by the end. Also, I agree; it's hard for me to say that I've been so emotionally attached to a character before... His desire to change is impossible to resist loving. And really, he had a good heart from the very beginning; he was just too ignorant for other people to see it (sans Ion).
