Japanese girl group fandom, particularly for AKB48, can be pretty gross, though usually more creepy than wanky. They still love their pointless arguments, though. I sometimes frequent an AKB48 forum, and members could be pretty wanky if you didn't like their favorite girl, and they love to harp on and on about how AKB48 is too mainstream now (like wtf they are major label idols run by the dude who did Onyanko Club what did you expect) or how awful management. The worst is when a girl breaks the dating ban. Then, the wankgates are opened, an exact repeat of whatever happened the last time a girl broke the rule occurs, and after a month everyone realizes that this is pointless anyways and goes back to watching silly AKB48 videos on YouTube. Or wanking about something else.

I actually don't mind falling, because I can kind of control that, but when I'm flying is like someone's grabbing me and shaking me up and down, left and right, backwards and forwards, like a kid playing with a doll and pretending it's superman or something. D: It's terrifying.

I think it has something to do with me being scared shitless in carrousels or like, going too fast in skates/roller blades. I've never dared get into a roller coaster or any similar mechanical game and I don't think I ever will. :(

they're not using gay men, though. they're using the imagery of the male figure (to a certain extent, although in many cases it's closer to a hybrid) to explore their own sexuality or feelings about love and relationships. it really has nothing whatsoever to do with homosexuality or the gay population.

Oh I do this all the time, but I'm a multi-shipper so I never feel guilty. I kinda just pretend it's an AU and not in the "canon" universe, so it doesn't feel like I'm cheating on my OTP.

Tywin ordered Sansa's maids (Shae and Brella) + Pod seized for questioning and Cersei was the one who questioned Shae when she was in the custody of Lannisters. Yes, she could have tried to lie, but she was frightened of Tywin (she says so herself) and she had every reason to be. Tyrion told her the story of what happened to Tysha, his last "whore" on the orders of Tywin — gang-rape by a hundred and one men, thrown out naked on the streets. She would also have seen what Tywin did to Alayaya (also Tyrion's "whore") — scourged and thrown out naked on the streets. She was also warned by Tyrion not to take Cersei lightly. And at the time she was completely at the mercy of the Lannisters, because they are the most powerful people in the realm, so she had every reason to be scared of their reaction if they found out she lied or if they believed her to be hiding something.
Varys was the only one who knew about her relationship with Tyrion, but he was never completely on Tyrion's side. It's actually a rather popular theory that he set up the whole Tywin-Shae scene for Tyrion to commit patricide.

Erm...I just use a washcloth and gently wipe in the fold between the outer lips and the inner lips. Sometimes soap in there feels weird, but it's never hurt me. Are you sure the skin is darker -because- of pain? I thought vaginal skin was just darker in general.

Anyway, maybe you should ask your doctor about it? If you're experiencing pain, it might be something a doctor can answer better/a special situation, etc.

Yes, exactly. Shae was doing what she had to to stay alive, and Tyrion killed her for it. It was a shitty thing for him to do, no matter the provocation.

I also think people see it as a moral event horizon for him because he seems to see it that way himself. His character changes big-time after that, and not in a good way.

oh whatever...it's just fantasy. young people think crazy ass shit about the world, and then guess what, they grow up and realize that things are actually different from what they imagined. books, movies etc have played a part in that since their conception. twilight isn't damaging anybody's idea of a healthy relationship unless they've never had one.

I kind of actively fight against this. As much as I love the perspective of fanfic (and value it and think it's awesome) my horizons are going to stay pretty short if I keep on reading stories about the same 10 characters falling in love written by people similar to me.
Don't hesitate to give up on a book if the reason you're not reading it is it's boring you. Just pick up something else. Short stories and anthologies of award winners are usually good for fanfic attention spans.

I think reading broadly and a lot is a common feature of people I really respect, and I feel bad about not trying hard enough.
