The first big fanfic I wrote (seven years ago now) was an OFC, so I get where you're coming from. And I've left it up all these years because yeah, I did learn a lot while writing it. It did make me a better writer.

It made me a good enough writer to never do it again.

Personally? I'm proud of the lessons I learned -- not necessarily of the OFC I inflicted on an already-infested fandom while I was in the process of learning them.

People who constantly, repetitively, shamelessly write Mary-Sues for the entire span of their fanficcing careers? For them, I have no sympathy.

I think I liked the re-made Corinthian better than the first, now he was fantastic. The cereal convention just killed.

22. You remind me of I****. Who for unknown reason managed to be both popular and a bad writer who only got characterizations right by mere accident. Fanfiction was for her a way too fuck hot guys through living vigariously through her Mary Sue-ed canon females.

13. Hell yes, Death/Rudolph. The subtext is so blatant that I'm almost surprised that there's no fic for it yet, except that there doesn't seem to be much fic for anything Takarazuka, in general. Which is tragic. (Also, Takarazuka is the only fandom that I have ever considered writing RPF for, though I have yet to get off my lazy ass and do it.)

I'm so happy I'm not the only one shipping those two. I mean, Tod and Rudolph. I can't choose wich version I like better from the ocidental plays, but yeah, those two look awesome for the japanese version of it.

19, I've been saying that for years. Practically word for word. I don't even like AUs and what ifs because if you're going to, say, make Luffy emo and gay, why not just write a character of your own who's emo and gay and extremely flexible? I'm sure a bunch of people just got some awesome ideas.
