People in the Take That fandom in the nineties did some pretty crazy stuff. They still do today, but back then it was nuts.

They found out where they all lived and used to stand outside their houses, day and night, even calling through the letterbox (I believe one of them said they used to set the alarm off constantly).

One of them snuck into Mark Owen's garden and put a ladder up to his bedroom window... They also used to do TT-related graffiti over the back wall of his Mum's garden too, which the neighbours hated his family for.

Someone also stood outside Gary Barlow's bedroom window and invited him to her little brother's birthday party.

Ooh, and they used to look up their surnames in the phonebook and call people to ask if they were related. I think they had an article about that in the official magazine, with the boys basically begging fans not to do it.

I actually don't care much about Glee one way or the other, but I'm glad they've done so many covers of songs because they've introduced a lot of music to a lot of kids. And it's neat coming across high school glee clubs raising money for things in the subway. That never happened before the show.

I wasn't trying to be sneaky. The reason I don't specify the fandom in the text is because this 'problem' or experience I describe is one I have in all of my fandoms (of which Hetalia is the main).

Bullshit. You're certainly allowed to not like it, but saying it's generally not appealing to women is just plain wrong. There a women who enjoyed it, me one of them even before i knew what slash was (got internet in my middle twenties).

There's a huge difference between sometimes looking bad and consistently looking bad. Obviously, some people think she's attractive, but it would only be sexist to find her unattractive if people didn't also find actors like Alec Baldwin or Steve Buscemi unattractive. Some people are just not attractive to others.

Kirsten Stewart just also happens to be widely considered a poor actress with unnatractive habits like leaving her mouth open. That's not sexist: that's just a common opinion.

*shrug* I doubt very much it will break up the friendship. Especially if you start both watching other versions of Holmes as well and talking about the ins and outs of AUs.

Pretending something that isn't true gets tiring really quickly and isn't worth the effort in this case. Tell her. If nothing else you can say that you need a dose of something Holmesian on a regular basis until the BBC does a new series because you've overdosed on Reichenangst!

Ah, I can understand. Trailers are... interesting. The normally lie for all movies. If you want, I can spoil the romance bits of Snow White and the Huntsman and you can decide whether you want to see it or not. The rest of the movie was nice. It wasn't phenomenal but I enjoyed the ride.

Assuming we're talking about women, that would be a little silly when in most cases the anatomy is different.

But honestly - I'm not trying to say all women need to try anal sex - but whatever opens some minds about it is kind of a good thing. I get really fucking sick of how when we're talking about m/m sex, anal is supposedly a given and almost no one is grossed out, but as soon as we get into the idea of women enjoying it everyone is all "Eww but poop goes there, nuh-uh!"
