I don't know how obscure this is, but I shipped John/Stark hardcore while watching Farscape. There are only a few really old fics for them.

Also, I think I'm the only person who ships Data/Spock, though a few people have seemed interested in the pairing when I mentioned it here.

Madeline Bassett/Stiffy Byng from P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves series.

Small fandom, revolves around a man and his valet, so that pairing outweighs everything (and yes I do ship that too, just not as much), and the two women I ship are generally, and understandably viewed as really irritating and a nasty piece of work respectively.

Oh, and they're cousins.

Trying to come up with a good explanation of why they're so shippable; "because it amuses me" doesn't seem that much of an argument

Sherlock (BBC): Molly/Sally. I like to imagine Sally's visits are the highlight of Molly's work day, and that she doesn't even realise she's crushing hard on this detective lady who tells her she doesn't need to take anyone's shit. Sally is oblivious, but she's quite fond of Molly, and wouldn't mind "trying girls" for a change if Molly was open to it.

Breaking Bad: Gale/Victor. Shhhhh. Victor lost his precious friend. He was so glad when his adorable friend got re-hired, because maybe he wouldn't have to roll his eyes so much at that ridiculous Walter asshole. But nooooo, that asshole and his manchild had to go and ruin everything in the most devastating way possible, and poor Victor finally snapped and said, "FUCK THESE RULES". Silent goon in the background his ass. He's had it up to here with this horrible bullshit. Word sharing time is now and forev— :(

My very favorite OTP is a rarepair in an obscure fandom - Sydney and Hardin from Vagrant Story. (Pretty much everyone agrees they had a thing going, but is more interested in shipping Sydney with Ashley. :P)

Also I think my girlfriend and I are the only people who have ever produced fic for Masaki and Teshimine from Get Backers. They're both minor (but plot-important!) characters, and somehow we've gotten so much headcanon for them that they're possibly my second favorite pairing ever, right behind Sydney/Hardin. And we can't find ANYTHING for them that we didn't write - and certainly there's no doujinshi or anything like that. It just kills me. :(

Not an obscure fandom, but an obscure pairing, because hardly anybody gives a fuck about Percy unless it's to hate on him. But for some reason, I've loved this ship since Chamber of Secrets. I think it's just because he's so prim and proper and stuffy, so the thought of him getting caught making out with a girl is awesome. Like there's this whole other side to him that we never see because JKR makes him so one-dimensional.

Also, thanks to whoever linked that fic yesterday! It was so, so sad, but so incredibly good.
