If you could only rewatch three episodes of your favorite shows for the rest of your life...

If you had to pick just three episodes from each of your favorite shows, and for the rest of your life, those three episodes would be the only episodes of that show you could ever rewatch (not counting new episodes that haven't aired yet), which three episodes of each show would you choose?

Remember, there could be a difference between the episodes you'd like rewatching most, and your favorite episodes! For example, Jurassic Bark is my favorite episode of Futurama, but it's not an episode I'd be desperate to watch over and over again. Instead, the episodes I'd choose from that show are Time Keeps On Slippin', The Sting, and The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings.

(For the purpose of this thread, two-parters count as just one episode).

"The Chocolate Box", "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Three Act Tragedy" from Poirot;

"The Kingdom of Bones", "The Photographer's Chair" and "The White Knight Stratagem" from Murder Rooms;

definitely something from Monty Python... but this one's difficult to decide :)

And certainly "The Adventure of the Red-Headed League" from Granada series.

Wow, someone else who watched Murder Rooms?! I remember when in about 2003 my sister tried to get dvds of them but region 1 dvds weren't available for it then. Seems like netflix does have them now. I actually once had a dream about "The Photographer's Chair", it was so creepy.

X-Files: 'Jose Chung's From Outer Space', 'Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose' (aka 'the easy part of the list'). And... uh... I'm going to go with Beyond The Sea, I think, that's an episode I always enjoy watching, more than many others. Plus it has Don S Davis! How can you go wrong. Or maybe Quagmire, that's a fun episode. Dang, this third spot is hard.

From Utena: episode 34 (the one with Anthy's past presented by the shadow girls, and with the truth about Utena's motivation for becoming a prince), the curry episode because it's the one that makes me laugh the most, and the last one.

From original Star Trek: The City on the Edge of Forever, Space Seed, and The Trouble with Tribbles.

DS9: In the Pale Moonlight, Our Man Bashir, and Improbable Cause - The Die is Cast.

Supernatural: Salvation, Bad Day at Black Rock, and Mystery Spot.

I can't decide on Sherlock Holmes (Brett), Poirot, and Miss Marple, because any three episodes would be fine with me.

"Honky Tonk Woman", "The Real Folk Blues: Part I", "The Real Folk Blues: Part II", Cowboy Bebop. Had the very first Adult Swim airing of those on VHS for the longest time precisely because they were the best episodes in my opinion, though the "Jupiter Jazz" episodes were close runners-up.

For Supernatural: Croatoan, All Hell Breaks Loose: Part 1 & 2, and Lucifer Rising (almost picked Mystery Spot. God this is hard...).

Merlin: The Labyrinth of Gedref, The Sins of the Father, & The Diamond of the Day: Part 1 & 2. (...Maybe. My memory of Sins of the Father is kind of sketchy, but I'm pretty sure that's the episode where Arthur tries to kill Uther, and therefore it belongs on the list.)

I tried doing it with SGA and rage-quit. I need at least 10, I CAN DO NOTHING LESS.

Firefly was also impossible. Oops.

DS9- The Wire, For the Uniform, Trials and Tribble-ations. TOO HARD. Wish I could count the whole Occupation arc from Call to Arms to Sacrifice of Angels as a multi-parter... ;__;

TOS- The Squire of Gothos, Mirror Mirror, Journey to Babel.

Fringe- Bad Dreams, Over There Parts 1 & 2, Subject 13.

Classic Who- Inferno, The Time Monster, The Five Doctors.

New Who- The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, School Reunion, Partners in Crime.

Damn, that's a hard one. From Supernatural, I'd choose Changing Channels, Hammer of the Gods, and urgh, idk, maybe Appointment in Samarra. That's my favourite Death episode right now, but it's liable to change.

Denno Coil : episode 7, episode 11, episode 26
(I didn't even choose the beard episode... I feel like I should be ashamed of myself haha)

Neon Genesis Evangelion : episode 9, episode 24, episode 26
(Maybe I would prefer episode 25 instead of 26 since it's also about the other main characters... I'm not sure... but I would want to be able to watch the "Congratulations" scene again and again.)

Doctor Who : Midnight, Turn Left, Vincent and the Doctor
(This was really hard to choose, there are so many episodes !)
