Where in my comment did I indicate that I was offended or couldn't take kidding? I myself make jokes about Captain Kirk getting it on with every woman who ever appears when the context is light-hearted fun.

I was just pointing out that if you're addressing an actually serious subject like slutshaming and arguing no one should care if this character gets it because "he's Captain Kirk", well, his character really doesn't fit the mold at all.

I think you've got some pet peeve tropes confused. Yes, the "growing up = not sleeping around" bit is slut-shamey and gross. But the "worrying about your partner's fidelity" bit has nothing to do with slut-shaming. It's fine if it's a fic trope you don't enjoy, but slut-shaming specifically refers to shaming people just for having casual sex, which infidelity is not. I can see it being handled in a slut-shamey way, yes, but it sounds more like you're unhappy with the plot point in and of itself rather than how it's handled.
