I do the exact same thing when writing too. Huh. I wonder if it's just something that works for me.

Wow. I'm really sorry you guys had to go through that. I can't quite relate to the behavior you describe, but for what it's worth, I believe you. Though, for personal reference, where did this happen?

I don't know about worst ever... that seems extreme to me. But I read Rise of Arsenal, so my perspective is probably skewed. ;)

More died? Yikes, that is an unpleasant combo indeed.

Yeah, the best reaction I can muster for the whole thing is "meh". I mean, I wasn't really pumped up either way for the book to begin with but it definitely went in the once-read-and-quickly-forgotten pile. The Kate bits were nice (I'm finally starting to warm to her...) but past that I just didn't care.

I know he's talking about TF2...

The fact that she has daddy issues kinds of makes it worse IMO. Freud would love that.

Now you're just blatantly trolling. OP mentioned in the first sentence that they found their behavior wrong. You on the other hand have major issues.

FLCL, 6 episodes of fun.

Mushishi, ~20some episodes of Japanese folklorish travels, it's very laid-back and pretty.

Ergo Proxy? It's more cyberpunk than fantasy-adventure but I liked it a lot.

So pretty~ The first and second-to-last ones are a bit creepy-looking though! XD

That would fit for the funeral home. It'd still be awful, but it would fit.

My buddy Troy once told me about the home surgery he and his girlfriend performed on his knee, which had some kind of growth in it, but the doctors in the VI wouldn't treat it for him.

I loved that guy like a brother but AUGH AUGH AUGH WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME THAT DUDE

I adore Skyfall but I think this skit was amazing and one of my favourite things about the wonderful opening ceremony. Danny Boyle is so clever, it was just a genius idea, and what a great sport The Queen is. The corgis as well, bless them.

OP I think it might be interesting to try and find out more about why these fans had the previous reputations. Not that I don't agree with others that you maybe could defend the person who is considered a bitch, but I have known and do know people who in fact are vile bitches, but would do all those things you describe. I've been treated very badly by a colleague, who would drive me home or lend me money, and do the same for anyone. Doesn't stop her from being the most horrible work bully I've ever met. Some people can come across well until you get to know them, or work with them for example. It may be that people who know this person better have seen a nasty side, which wouldn't come out at a meet up.

Not that it matters hugely if you aren't going to pursue real life friendships with them, but it can be interesting to find out what they've done to earn those reps.
