4. But older women are so hawt. ;D I like both characters actually. I like Minmei more though, because she is just full of all kinds of win. ♥

2. WIN. Seriously, WIN.

*yawn* Am I the only one who's bored w/ the secrets the last few days?

(Anonymous) 2007-09-12 12:10 am (UTC)(link)
Considering the lack of response, here are some acceptable answers in order of niceness:

i'm terribly sorry my secret bored you
no one's forcing you to read them

sounds like a lot of the lj rpg game secrets around here

[identity profile] freege.livejournal.com 2007-09-11 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
8. Hehe~ I agree with this.

21. :O I see you thar~ Hehe! I have the exact same problem sometimes! I'll look at a picture of Luke and go "...Where are his ears?" And I played the game before I joined the RP! XD;

Bitch, PLZ. Rick found out very quickly that Minmei wasn't mature enough. She was a selfish, spoiled brat, even at the end. I loved Robotech for that very reason---he finally saw through her shallow, vain facade and found Lisa to be real and true. I was rooting for the "old lady" Ms. Hayes the whole way.

UnRequited Love FTW!

I don't think being mute and being deaf are the same thing.

Re: 18.

(Anonymous) 2007-09-12 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
It's an outdated term, according to wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deaf-mute

It makes me fuzzy too, even if I don't know these people at all. :3 Heck, the adorable dog & kitty picture gives another bonus! Awwww~ ♥♥♥

29. I didn't like it either. I tried. Believe me, I did.

1) Definitely sympathize with you there. When I first got into collecting the stuff, I didn't yet know who my favorite artists were and I just kind of randomly bought. Wasted so much money on crap. I still spend too much, even keeping my collecting down to my three or four favorite artists. I NEED TO LEARN TO STAY AWAY FROM EBAY. I can't believe how much these things cost, seriously. They're probably like five bucks in Japan and *flail*

What you said about "educational resources" really hit home... I've been using that excuse as well. *headdesk* I'm so sorry, lost money! .___.

Re: #1

[identity profile] shigeruhiko.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 08:14 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, they run about 800~1500 yen now (approximatly $8~15), and sometimes more.

I have a small pick up service with a friend and we pick up books for about $20/book. That's about as cheap as we can run them, because we include shipping with our price and OMG shipping from Japan has just gone up insane amounts. =(

I keep telling myself that it's for "educational" purposes too, but actually, I have been learning from them. Helps when you have nothing else to read and you have a Raureif book sitting beside, and you think, "I wonder if there is any story in the KakuHidan porn." And then you fall over dead when there IS a story, and it's pretty good.

[identity profile] longlongwaytogo.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
8. Nope, I *love* that! :D
10. Lady Lovely Locks! :D Do you know, I probably did the same thing. That secret sparked a few memories.

I'm sure you could still sell it and make a decent amount while people are still fawning over Advent Children and the cell phone Turk game.

It's not like you can't at least try?

I've felt that before though.

[identity profile] jacketeer.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
6. That is a darn good idea.
7. HAHAHA.
12. GOD that is so true. Then again, it's worth it, because it is so awesome.
19. Let's just hope it doesn't suck!

There SURE are a lot of pretentious, elitist assholes in this comm.
And no, I'm not talking to everyone. You know exactly what I mean.
Let people comment however the fuck they want to comment. Damn.

Some overly-sensitive posters in here need to go spend some time at ONTD and take a few lessons from them. At least, there, people don't take things so fucking seriously.

16 u r my hero :(

Really, I was kind of relieved when he died. Still sad, but...glad that he couldn't get any farther from the character I love.

[identity profile] ensuing.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 12:44 am (UTC)(link)
18. YES! That one is so adorable! ♥

(Anonymous) 2007-09-12 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, I can't get enough of her Bohra's work. It probably helps that I love oyajis too though, hehe. ♥

1. OMG ME TOO. I've spent that much (if not more) on doujinshi only to lose interest in half of the fandoms six months later. Now I'm stuck with all these books that I'm too lazy to scan and sell, and I'm kicking myself in the ass for spending all that money on them. At least I don't buy them anymore!

8. Hehe, I love that, too! ^_^

[identity profile] ankhutenshi.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
1. I've spent more than double that and don't regret it at all. I think you should be more disappointed in that fact that you brainwashed yourself that they were "educational" than the fact that you spent a lot of money on them. Doujinshi are like nice paintings or lawn ornaments. Sometimes it's okay to just buy them because they're pretty. But recognize that 90% of the time, they're functionally useless.

21. I SEE YOU. ♥

[identity profile] silverfox1027.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
29. IA so hard. This is the case for basically ever popular fandom ever, but Haruhi fans are exceptionally obnoxious. They almost beat Evangelion fans, which is saying a lot.

[identity profile] colortheory.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 01:38 am (UTC)(link)
6. That's...intriguing. In a very odd sort of way.

7. ....THAT IS THE MOST AWESOME THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. XD

29. I can understand not liking it, but calling the people who do enjoy it "faggots?" Not exactly the most political of moves.

[identity profile] roko-epsilon.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
8: I am the same! c: I applaud you:

12: You needed to be WARNED?
Hell, half the reason I don't feel so bad about never drawing Kingdom Hearts stuff despite my love for it is the fandom.

[identity profile] kouhotaru.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Macross >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Robotech. Minmei was a much better character in the original than the dub, it was like the poor girl killed all of the pet puppies of Harmony Gold's staff on the Astral Plane and they needed REVENGE.

I almost sort of want to write a fanfic for it. Rule 32 failed me hardcore on LLL and I can't find ANY ficcage for it anywhere. ;_;

21 & 21

[identity profile] stopping.livejournal.com 2007-09-12 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
No, I'm not going to comment on how they look the same. XD All I'll say is:

21- The same thing happened to me with 21. XD Except my friend just kept talking to me about it and even coerced me into RPing with him, even though I didn't know the game at all.

And now I'm in love with the game, in love with Yuri Lowenthal, and am going to cosplay Peony next year. XD

22- Can I marry you? Please? ♥ I'll be a good wife, I promise.
