5. I will never understand such ignorant opinions concerning rape and it's saddening that so many people in fandom use it like some sort of foreplay or plot device.

I'm not sure if I conveniently passed over any bad ones or if the good ones REALLY stuck out, but it seems like there's more happy secrets today than usual.

Not that I'm supporting #5 in any way- I think it's a really, really sick secret- but I find it equally saddening when people use explicit violence as a plot device and nobody protests. Like, why is violence without genitalia considered "okay", but once sex comes in, everything's automatically "not okay"? I wish people weren't as inundated with violence as they are- rape and murder seem like equally horrific experiences/acts to me. But if a character is raped, everybody screams... um, 'rape', I guess.... whereas if somebody dies, everybody's like, 'meh'.
Rape is a form and expression of violence, after all.

11. I get why people are squicked by incest in fics/art/whathaveyou, but I think that's part of what I like about it, is the taboo-ness. Getting to explore that aspect of a relationship and how it can go wrong, or go right while everyone else perceives it as wrong. That and Ed and Al are just freaking adorable no matter what sort of relationship they're in, not to mention just plain pretty. <333

27. LMAO I've had that happen to me a couple of times. The most memorable one was when I'd ranted to my friends in a chat about people having Al call Ed "Niisan" in English fics and the very next day one of the secrets on here was about about Al calling Ed "Niisan" in English fics. It wasn't me. XD

9. I'm mainly a dub girl myself, because I don't like focusing on one part of the screen. Plus, there are great voice actors everywhere, so who cares?

20. No shame in that! I fangirl some psychos myself! (Tetsuo, Nishi, and Shogo, how I do love them...) Characters like that can be really sympathetic, especially if you see flashbacks to their lives before they lost it, because they usually had hard lives that would break anyone.

31. His scars and metal parts are awesome! I actually have a thing for characters with those features. I like Tetsuo better with his replacement arm, and I think one of the things that makes Black Jack seem so unique and beguiling is the scarring he has.
